Governing Body

PIFA, or the PEEL International Football Association, is the governing body of football for PEEL.

PIFA divides the nations of PEEL into six conferences, the Western Spur Football Conference(WSFC), the Football Federation of New Asia and the Turangas(FFNAT), the Far Eastern Football Federation(FEFF), the New European Football Federation(NEFF), the New America Football Conference(NAFC), and the Football Conference of Colonial PEEL(FCoCP).

PIFA oversees the PEEL Cup, ranks national teams, and awards players of PEEL for each year.

International Competitions

The PEEL Cup is an international football competition between national teams of PEEL. The first PEEL Cup will be held in Dvorakia in 2062 STS. The 2062 PEEL Cup's qualifications begin in 2060.

Domestic Competitions

Club football is common across PEEL. Many nations have national football leagues, and some teams play foreign clubs. Secondary schools across PEEL also have teams, as do many universities.

Basketball

The game of basketball is among the most popular in all of PEEL, especially in New Asia and the Turangas, where the game has reached a popularity that is perhaps second only to football. Elsewhere, the sport has broad appeal across much of North New America, particularly those nations along the Sea of Jamala.

Governing Body

The international basketball governing body is known as the PPBA, short for PEELian Professional Basketball Authority. The PPBA regulates player transfers, holds contract arbitrations, and ensures that all teams and leagues oversee the rules and regulations of the game. Also, the PPBA organizes the annual Tournament of Champions, in which PEEL's top 64 professional teams compete in a single-elimation playoff to determine the region's best basketball squad.
