Basketball
The game of basketball is among the most popular in all of PEEL, especially in New Asia and the Turangas, where the game has reached a popularity that is perhaps second only to football. Elsewhere, the sport has broad appeal across much of North New America, particularly those nations along the Sea of Jamala.
Governing Body
The international basketball governing body is known as the PPBA, short for PEELian Professional Basketball Authority. The PPBA regulates player transfers, holds contract arbitrations, and ensures that all teams and leagues oversee the rules and regulations of the game. Also, the PPBA organizes the annual Tournament of Champions, in which PEEL's top 64 professional teams compete in a single-elimation playoff to determine the region's best basketball squad.

Auto Racing
An extremely lucrative sport, auto racing attracts fans from across the region, though the largest fanbase, by far, is that of Greater Zedoljev.
Other Sports
In addition to the traditional fan favorites that are team sports, PEEL's sporting public also takes part in a variety of individual competitions, each attracting a significant following, though typically with a smaller audience or a particular regional appeal.
