The StarSearcher

Introduction

The StarSearcher is the massive vessel which brought Friendly Aliens to the Alliance. At the moment it is stuck half way in the ground and Planetfall city has been built around it. The StarSearcher was used to move an entire planet's population but unfortunately Alpha Empire Assassins sabotaged all the StarSearchers to kill off all the Friendly Aliens. The crew of the StarSearcher that crash landed into the Alliance was extremely lucky to find the spies before maximum damage could be done.

Technical Information

The StarSearcher is about 100 miles long and about 10 miles in diameter. It had enough space to house the entire population of one of the planets in the original Friendly Aliens which is about 10 million Aliens. The hull is made from an ultra thick layer of Xenon and Jucta Alloy which has been considered as the most damage resistant alloy ever made. Instead of shielding the Friendly Aliens decided to cover the ship in advanced PD lasers, they realised that the only threat would be large asteroids so these lasers were made to destroy them and the debris.

The largest system on the ship is the Demenismix reactor, it spreads from one end to the other to provide the fastest travel possible over the intergalactic void. It works by mixing energy from two opposite dimensions the reaction of which causes an extreme release of energy.

There is are no main weaponry on the StarSearcher, it has been designed just to be fast and safe. So much so its most impressive feature is that it can split into twenty smaller sized ships which are originally called 'Sector Ships'.

The inside is mainly living space and recreational space the trip lasted 40 years so the Aliens had to have something to do. The living areas are situated around the hull and the recreational areas are deeper inside the ship. Then just a little bit deeper just before the reactor are the vast hydroponic farms which used the heat energy which emitted from the engine.

Post Planetfall

After the crash of the StarSearcher it has found itself stuck halfway into the ground, all of the Aliens survivors had been moved out and into the cities. Then Friendly Alien scientists managed to remove two massive sector ships from the StarSearcher, these are now known as Black Dragons.

Now days it is completely off limits for two reasons:

1) There is still hidden technology to be found inside the StarSearcher which only Friendly Aliens can safely experiment on.

2) They do not want to risk the StarSearcher collapsing.

Sector Ships

The Sector Ships would never be able to break the planets orbit successfully therefore Friendly Aliens thought it would be best to use the Sector ships as military weapons and they were therefore refitted and renamed Black Dragons (and just recently renamed back to Sector Ships).

The edge of the ring ship still has the highly advanced PD lasers which means it can destroy almost any aircraft which gets near it however the tiniest aircraft may slip through the defence net because the automatic PDs do not see them as a threat. But the Sector has had thousands of ARC PDTs mounted to the exterior of the hull to stop this problem and now just recently SRain Launchers.

The Black Dragon is powered by the same energy system which powered the StarSearcher, the DemensiMix, except the reactor is only a restored section of the original.

However the Sector Ships are slow which means it is always the last thing to arrive at a conflict but Friendly Aliens rarely enters it into combat zones because of its command and control purpose.

Since the end of the Southern War the Black Dragons have been renamed back to Sector Ships.
