Stellar Solar Array

After Friendly Aliens developed the HE Solar Cell Technology many were given the responsibility of finding useful applications of the technology. Vast 'Solar Fields' were made in the Friendly Alien countryside to power the super cities and solar cells were placed on top of buildings to supplement this power. However this didn't fully take advantage of the increased efficiency offered by the redesigned solar cells.

Friendly Aliens scientists developed the plans for the first Stellar Solar Array. The plans were however daring to say the least, the materials needed to create the solar array were not in Friendly Aliens' possession.

After some stressful diplomacy Friendly Aliens managed to get the resources that were needed from neighbouring countries in return for the power generated by the Array. McPsychoville offer the metals needed, Jihad Allah offered the glass and man power and Super Rome offered the transportation needed to get all these resources to space.

The first thing to be constructed was a massive scaffold, this scaffold held the material in orbit, protected workers constructing the Array and offer accommodation for them. The scaffold ended up being so successful that it is still used to this day.

Then the Solar Array began to take shape. The hemisphere covered in HE Solar Cells was connected to the large dish which would beam microwaves toward the generator station. Then finally Jihaddy workers made final touches attaching thrusters and communication arrays.

Even in 2006 this station is still the most powerful renewable power station in the Alliance.
