The Province of Stevens Bay, was a former country in the south-east of the Holdinia region, which became a province of St Samuel after the Stevens Bay conflict. Bordered by the Northern Ossia Province, Southern Ossia Province, Jordinia Province, Fellistina Province, Lusitania Province and the Curtistan Province with a population of nearly 2 million.
Stevens Bay was an ethnically diverse nation with four predominant ethnic groups, the Ossian's (West), the Jordini Muslim's (South), the Stevinian Curts (North/West) and the largest ethnic group, the Fellini (North/East). These ethnic divisions came to a head in 2007 with the Stevens Bay conflict. The result of the war saw the country become part of the United Federal Kingdom of St Samuel and the country was split into 7 provinces.
Stevens Bay derives it's name from the first President, Steven Anna-Columbo, who came to power in 1764.
History
The South Holdini War of Independence
The founding President of Stevens Bay, Steven Anna-Columbo was an influential figure within the South Holdini War of Independence. Anna-Columbo led a rebellion against the Southern Holdinia Empire and during a 21 year war managed to split the Empire and win independence for the northern regions of the Southern Holdinia Empire.
The Stevens Bay Conflict
The Stevens Bay Conflict began in 2007 after the collapse of the government. The Fellini's attempted to to take control of the country fighting against the Ossian's, Jordini Muslim's and the Stevinian Curt's who were supported by St Samuel. The Fellini's received support from Southern Holdinia.
St Samuel and it's allies were victorious in the war and as a result, Stevens Bay became territory of the United Federal Kingdom of St Samuel and the country was split into 7 provinces.
