Early Life
Hans Beckenbauer was born to Reinhard and Yekaterina Beckenabuer in 1971 in the small village of Poltsen in north Skgorria. Reinhard was a German POW that had been captured during Operation Uranus and deported to Brzno after the war, whilst little is known of Yekaterina besides that she was an ethnic Skgorrian. Hans attended all the compulsory education required under the Soviet system at a Skgorrian National School until age 17, after which he joined the Soviet Armed Forces as a Motor Rifle Junior Lieutenant and was stationed in Brzno. It was during his time in the Soviet Armed Forces that Hans met his wife-to-be, Adalwolfa, at a Party celebration. Hans and Adalwolfa were married in 1989, an event of joy in a time of uncertainty as the Soviet Union's future proved ever more uncertain.
The Skgorrian War Of Indepedence
When the NSBPP arose to challenge the fast-fading Communists Junior Lieutenant Beckenbauer led his Motor Rifle platoon, all comprised of Skgorrians, in support of the NSBPP. His father had told him of the ideals of National Socialism, and Adalwolfa was herself an underground member of the NSBPP, leading him to whole-heartedly embrace the ideology of National Socialism.
His platoon was incorporated into the hastily-formed Central Front, and took part in the drive to seize central Grossetape, but was halted by Atopian forces. Hans spent most of the war on this Front, although he was granted some leave in which he was able to see Adalwolfa and father a daughter, Svetlanka Beckenbauer, who was born in 1992. As the Central Front was pushed further and further back, Hans took every effort to wipe out as many Atopians, Grosstapians and anyone else who wasn't a Skgorrian. Such zealous efforts and dedication reached the ears of the Central Front Command, and the remmenants of Hans' platoon, now a solitary BMP-2 with crew and 6 infantry men, were inducted into the reformed Storm Squad.
Securing Skgorria
Hans was seperated from his platoon, as they were assigned to a SS Panzer-Grenadier regiment whilst he was chosen for the reformed Special Action Division and promoted to Storm-Captain. His company was among the more efficent in removing polticial and racial undesirables, and he displayed a talent for extermination. By the end of 1994 Hans had risen to Storm-Major and was routinely taking part in reprisal raids carried out across the Atopian border. Hans' rapid rise was as a result of the uncertainty of the new government about who to trust, thus those who showed promise and loyalty were rewarded greatly.
The name of Hans Beckenabuer was so noticed and feared that his wife was targeted and killed in a Dedication Division attack as she fetched Svetlanka from school at the end of the day. Hans shrunk into severe depression, but as clinical depression is not a recognised illness in Skgorria, Hans was left to cope with it by himself. He took a month of paternity leave to take comfort and solace in the company of his daughter, and at the end of the month he reported back for duty with new strength. Hans was even more zealous and filled with hate for all things non-Skgorrian than before. During operations against International Lesbians, he called in a massive airstrike of over 400 bombers against a city on the grounds that "It's full of damned Yids and it pains my eyes." Such zealous actions brought Hans another promotion, that to Storm-Colonel.
The Ideal and The Fall
The Ministry for Enlightenment and Propaganda held out Hans as a model Skgorrian, a prime example of what the next generation should aspire to be. His face was on posters everywhere, and he recorded several public service films including "Suffer Ye Not The Bolshevik", a smash hit amongst the Skgorrian populace. His popularity reached its zenith when he commanded the whole of Special Action Division on operational deployment to British Londinium after reports that Skgorrian, Atopian and allied forces were having difficulties in subduing the populace. Upon arrival with Special Action Division, he assumed command of the Skgorrian contingent (6 divisions and an Air Army in total, including 5th SS Panzer 'Zionbane) and began a massive program of extermination that resulted in the deaths of untold millions of Londinians. One of his more ingenious plans was to reduce the British Londinium Armed Forces to a mere oral tradtion by:
- Seizing all senior officers
- Burning all uniforms and barracks
- Burning all literature that mentioned the Armed Forces, even in passing
- Transferring all Army and Air Force equipment to Skgorria and scuttling the Navy
Such measures did not break the will of the Londinians and they continued to rebel. Eventually Beckenbauer declared the whole country a free-fire zone, but this was not enough to stop the dissent. After the Fuhrer ordered Beckenbauer to pull out, he refused: he had never tasted defeat before. Two shots from his CFSS attaché sealed the Storm-General's fate, leaving Skgorria's mightiest hero to bleed to death in his own command tent. He was given a full state burial in Skgorria City and laid to rest in the Halls Of The Dead, a massive mausoleum housing the greatest of Skgorria's warriors.
The Return
Following a secretive Fuhrerdirektiv, the obscure SS Paranormal Division arranged an occult ritual to resurrect the dead Storm-General and return him to life. Granted a form of unlife by a dark entity, Beckenbauer returned in seemingly perfect health and with no memories of his government killing him. His return was explained off as a deception to lower the guard of Skogrria's enemies, and his return was welcomed by a populace desperate for a hero to look up to. He continued to serve faithfully until his second death, serving in:
Die Boerstaat - commanded a Skgorrian force that annexed the nation along with other CA nations. Reinforced by Atopian forces, Beckenbauer ordered the land cleansed and every last Die Boerstaatian was slaughtered and their nation tarmaced.
Hataria - In one of the biggest wars in years, Beckenbauer led Kampfgruppe 'Totalerkrieg' which totaled over 20 million Pact of Iron soldiers and annexed half of China after the Hatarian government collapsed. The Hatarians were then purged and the area repopulated with Pact of Iron citizens.
Finally he was laid to rest again after a not-so-peaceful retirement. He was once again re-animated for the Exodus, and his spinal column and brain placed inside a suit of Ubersoldaten Armour. He is now a mere shadow of his former self, prone to violent outbursts and bouts of rage, harbouring an even deeper hatred of Skgorria's enemies than before his incarceration in the Ubersoldat armour.
