Synopsis

The TAK-1992, a version of the AK-74M reworked to Triancian specifications, is perhaps the most prolific assault rifle in the Federal Kingdom. It was authorized in 1993 by the Civil Defense Administration as an official assault arm to be issued to the Civil Defense Force. It's certification was a result of many factors: The weapon is reliable, cheap, easy to build, and requires little maintenance, making it ideal for irregular forces who would be fighting an occupation. It became very popular among members of the CDF, and a somewhat large number of them remain in service.

As a result of the TAK-2002's recent certification, a large number of these rifles are being retired and returned to the CDA, leading the Royal Confederated Armories to offer the new surplus at a low price to prospective bulk buyers.
