Just a very primitive stab at this. Please feel free to add more. I hope it is deemed appropriate - it seemed important enough to mark with an article.Gruenberg2 20:11, 28 August 2005 (GMT)

For a primative stab, I'm left wondering what a polished article looks like, as this is extremely accurate and complete.  :) I happen to like the article, and was reading it with the intent to add material ... but aside from possible including possible lists of specific actions taken, I think you've done an awesome job here! Actually, you might be just the man. Is there anything we could add in about the resolution - or was it relatively unaffected? I know PC was having minor apoplexies about it.Gruenberg2 21:10, 28 August 2005 (GMT)
Thanks to the quick actions of the moderators and the timing of the disk crash, the resolution probably was not impacted. Most of the larger regions tend to cast their votes on the last 2 days of voting, and since the game was up again Friday night, I suspect it was OK. That said, I think it is actually a good idea to briefly mention that there was legitimate concern that the crash would impact the Repeal "Protection of Dolphins Act" resolution. Afterall, it was the other major game event going on at the same time, and Wiki is about leaving bread crumbs to related events. Plenty of UN players were worried and for good reason. Had the back up taken another day, I honestly think things would have been worse. Mikitivity 21:47, 28 August 2005 (GMT)

My understanding is that all your data just gets set to null. Your nation name is composed of your extended title (Republic, Armed Republic, etc) and your login name - so Armed Republic of Angel Fire. The 0 of 0 error sets each property to Null which has a binary value of zero. That's why you find the zero in all fields. Forgottenlord 16:22, 2 April 2006 (GMT)

It is quite a bit off. I fixed that now. 172.201.181.56 17:41, 2 April 2006 (GMT) (Rolatia, I forgot to log in. Doh!)
