Nice factbook entry. But becoming a republic in the 80s? I thought you were RPing as if it were modern day, and that you got rid of the Monarchy in 2003 or so. I know I began the alliance with you in late 2002-early 2003, and that Justinian was in office when that happened. No offense, I just need some clarification re timelines and such. ~Syskeyia

Well, it goes like this: In real time, I've been on NS for two years. These correspond to about 20 years of "game time" from my perspective. The moment I joined NS corresponds to some time in the early 80's on my timeline. Justinian Tiberius was Basileus from 1982 to 1986. Then Constantinopolis became a republic in 1986, and Justinian was elected to serve as Chairman in 1986-1990, and again in 1990-1994.
You see, I had to do a bit of "rewriting of history" in order to get the history of my nation exactly as I want it. But from now on, my "game time" will correspond to real time. -- Constantinopolis 12:50, 25 Oct 2004 (GMT)

NPOV discussion

Those members who added the NPOV tag need to explain the reasons why. Those who have removed it need to leave it in place until the dispute is resolved. Frisbeeteria Θtalk 19:19, 27 Oct 2004 (GMT)

Perhaps instead of "This nation is seen by Constantinopolis as a long-standing bastion of oppression in every shape and form, earning the undying hatred of the people of Constantinopolis" you could say "There is a hearty dislike for Menelmacar in Constantinopolis, thanks to the Menelmacari market-based economy and monarchal form of government."

We must, after all, keep everything nice and NPOV, right?
