I know we're told to 'be bold' (which extends to that page itself), but in this case I really am just asking. The red links to Allah, Arab, Muslim, etc. seem to me to be terms that are unlikely ever to be defined on NSWiki. Would changing them to wikipedia links not make more sense? I also changed the number-square bracket format to a hashed list (you don't call them hashes in America...the grid thingy) to make it look better. I also have vague doubts about the neutrality of some of the statements, but probably not enough to warrant a disputed tag.Gruenberg 17:50, 7 August 2005 (GMT)

  • It could probably use quite a bit of a thrashing with the NPOV bat. Especially the bits about most Islamic nations being radical extremists. Nightbane 06:48, 8 August 2005 (GMT)
    • 'There are a few that are level headed, such as TLS, but most are not' is, I assume, the sentence you're referencing. It's not substantiated, admittedly, but as it stands, it seems relatively factual. Personally, I'm with you. I'll reword that line.Gruenberg 15:11, 8 August 2005 (GMT)

Actually, scratch the hashes - I was being stupid. I've left it as was. Also taken out some of the links to Allah - if they haven't got it by the first line, they're unlikely to click on it one line later. And added in some more links.Gruenberg 17:53, 7 August 2005 (GMT)

Vandalism?

I'm a little concerned at the current edits: they seem like vandalism to me, but I'm not sure exactly what to edit out and what to leave. Could the hilarious chap doing it maybe stop, and then a sysop help clear it up? Quod 17:23, 21 December 2006 (GMT)
