Edited Something In Economy Saying "Greatly Outstripping Arenumberg And Bandalok" To Just "Outstripping Bandalok" ... Please Check NS Economy Etc Before you say your more economically powerful than me.. MUAHAHA.. er, sorry. And you might need to revise The rest and edit in the fact i dont really exist anymore. Skeelzanian GDP to date: $68 trillion. Arenumberg GDP to date: $62 trillion.

Skeelzania has a larger GDP, and thus a more powerful economy in NS terms. I also have a slightly higher GDP per capita, ironic since I'm the big, bad Fascist Empire and your the Left-leaning College State. I also have a (slightly) lower unemployment rate, a trade surplus almost a third bigger. And to top it all off, my Economic Rating is "Fightening" whilst yours is power house. Skeelzania thus outstrips Arenumberg economically, if we take the NS page as cannon (which I do for most purposes).

However, this refers to the historical Arenumberg according to the Skeelzanian time line. You might not play as that specific nation anymore, but in the Skeelzanian mind it is still there and routinely laughed at.

Addition of POV Check

I am not familiar with the Gamma Quadrant community, but I think it is a safe bet that Arenumberg, Bandalok and Skeelzania are not the only three nations in NationStates roleplaying that are located there. I will not dispute the neutrality of the article due to my lack of knowledge on the NS Gamma Quadrant but I strongly suggest that the article, especially the Foreign Policy and Economy sections, be reworded or rewritten to be less presumptious of Skeelzania's status relative to other nations in the quadrant. - Zeke 22:54, November 11, 2005 (GMT)

Your concern is noted, Zeke/Xanthal. The thing is, there really is no Gamma Quadrant 'community' that I know, aside from the now-defunct New Aranamor Alliance (which was astrographically located there). The only consistent GQ relations I have had have been between Bandalok, Arenumberg, and myself. Not that I'm saying we're the sole occupants; Der Angst has at least one puppet, and I'm sure there are others. Its just that I've never met any of these other nations, and so determined Skeelzania's relative might based on what relations I have had.

Skeelzania can hardly know who's there, and, given that my nation there (Changeling Founders) is inferior to Skeelzania (And, in any case, very much unknown, I.e. its economy and relative power have zero impact due to lack of contacts with other inhabitants of the region), I don't really see a problem, there. If worst comes to worst, it's an IC position, rather than ooc facts.

Perhaps, but this is a page with information about IC. I would still discourage comparisons to ambiguous groups. Noting your power relative to specific RP partners where a mutually agreed-upon dynamic exists and a broad swath of territory which includes (or has the potential to include, since keeping track of the thousands of active roleplayers and tens of thousands of actual nations is pretty much humanly impossible) others is another. Maybe that's just personal preference, but since this is a fact book I say that airing on the side of caution in making broad claims is wise. However, I will leave it up to the original author whether editation is necessary. I will not remove my POV Check as the document stands now, but I will not re-establish it if someone else removes it.
