Factbook: A tranquil oasis, welcoming Egyptians, Egypt lovers, and wanderers of the deserts. We were once the greatest civilisation in the world, so let's do it again!
Egypt is a small, quiet region that is strongly protected and makes few alliances. It more themed towards Ancient Egypt then the current RL Egypt but we welcome anyone.
Brief History
It was originally founded by the River of the Nile (or something to that description) but I have no idea of the date. But the founder had died and there were 7 nations in there. I moved in Murnia as it was an Egyptian themed region and that was the obvious choice. By coincidence it was griefed a few days later by some griefers and I swiftly reported it and was then requested by the Mods to refound it. I did so and the region as it is now was born.
Post-Refounding
Since then it has been attacked a few times but none have been successful due to the fact that controls are off. Murnia was just a puppet of myself (Emperor Matthuis) so I decided to effectively hand the region over to someone else. By looking at the populations and regional message board I judged Thothe to be the most abled nation and offered him Foundership which he accepted. I then left Egypt alone and Thothe managed it extrememly well for a long period of time through Murnia.
Now
Recently I returned to the region and shortly after that Thothe began to lack the time to login due to RL. I then offered the Foundership to our next distinguished nation Sun God. Sun God topped the word rankings (yes all 120000 nations) for devoutness and we then began getting requests for alliances and suchlike. The region is now controlled equally by myself Storage Inbox, Thothe and Sun God. Recently Storage Inbox was elected Delegate rand I am enjoying my new role.
