The Populace

The people of Polska & BaltoSlavia are purely Slavic; they are the sons and daughters of Eastern Europe and the steppes beyond. They are fiercely conservative in defense of ethics and morality due to their infallible alliegeance to the Roman Catholic Church, which exercises its power over the nation. On political and economic issues they tend to be more liberal as they are willing to find new ways to get rich. Several vast cities dot the nation, each distinguishable by their towering cathedrals. These metropolises are kept very clean, but in the mostly industrialized rural areas the toxicity of the air reaches unhealthy levels. 57% of the population consists of Poles, who are treated with dignity and have the most political freedoms granted by the Polish-run government. Two large minorities are the Slavics (25%) and Baltics (17%). These two minorities have less civil rights and political freedoms and work in the grimy factories of the industrial sectors.


Geography/Climate

Very little remains of the vast, dense forests that covered the nation in its infancy. Most of the land has been either covered by cities or cultivated, then later industrialized. A handful of farms have been spared as they are essentiel in producing the national beverage, straight vodka. The Carpathian mountains stretch across the nation's middle and are the source of the four major rivers that flow into the Southern Ocean of Menotomy. The largest river Vistula empties into
