Ternpool Province

Ternpool Province is the smallest of the mainland provinces of Maanenland. The majority of the coastline of the province is dominated by the city of Ternpool and the smaller mining settlement of Scarcliffe.

Since the industrial revolution the area has been the dominant iron and steel producer with the nation thanks to local iron ore and coal resources in the hills in the north of the province. Shipbuilding was also once a major part of the Ternpool economy but this had continued to decline in importance in recent years.

Politcally the province has always been a staunch support of the Democratic Socialist Alliance and they enjoy more support here than anywhere else in the country. Both the Leader of the Opposition and the Lord Lieutenant have their consituencies in the province.
