The Federal War

Introduction

In early June, 2005 A.D., the region the British Federal Union and the Prussian Reich declared war on each other. Within two weeks peace had resumed, with the help of a ceasefire, but not without leaving a bitter tension between the two regions.

Outbreak of War

M.I.6 Agents of the British Federal Union, acting under orders from the UDA (United Defence Alliance), secretly infiltrated the Holy Fascist Alliance, a Nazi puppet region underneath the Prussian Reich. When detected, the HFA and the Prussian Reich both reacted with outrage, severly slandered the BFU, and threatened to counterattack with force of arms. The BFU then declared war on the Prussian Reich and all of its Provinces.

Conflict

Two highly trained saboteurs from the BFU assualted two of the Prussian Reich's other Provinces, managing to take the second, Italian Empire. Claiming it for Her Majesty the Queen, and for the British Federal Union, the two left the region and waited for a counterattack. Days later, the Prussian Reich discovered the damage and attempted to invade a colony of the BFU, but were easily repulsed.

Final Stages

After coming in contact with an emissary of the Prussian Reich, talks were held between the Anglo and the Nazi regions. In the end, a standing ceasefire was agreed upon by both regions.

Effects

From that point on, the nations of the British Federal Union viewed as enemies by the rest of the Nazi world. Eventually, the Holy Fascist Alliance was abandoned, and the Prussian Reich sank into obsucurity, surviving now with one inactive member. The British Federal Union, thanks to internal corruption, was officially disbanded, with its members fleeing to other regions.
