This is a catalogue of all the non-classified space vessel designs currently in service in the Guanyan Aerospace Navy, beginning with capital ships and continuing down to fighters.

GH-WX Heavy Capital Ships

The GH-WX line is composed of ships designed for one purpose and one purpose only: to dish out as much damage as possible.

GH-WX 100 Aesir

Designation: Super Battleship

Length: 16.8 km

Armaments: 3 Retribution Supercannons, 12 Hellfire Cannons, 18 Refracted Particle Cannons, 40 Tri-Particle Cannons, 68 Phased Assault Cannons, 104 Shatterstar Missile Tubes, 196 Anti-Fighter Laser Cannons, and a GAT Point Defense Web MkIII.

Fighter Compliment: Carries 288 Stinger IIs, 288 Rapier IIs, and 216 Death’s Hands

Specs: The Aesir is by far the most powerful ship in the GAN. Far superior to the Annihilator, it is the final product of GAT's attempt to create a new ship that would so outshine the Annihilator that it could replace the Ueberroth, a GH-WX 90C highly modified Annihilator, as the Guanyan flagship. Only one ship of this class has ever been produced, not surprising considering the monumental construction costs.

GH-WX 90 Annihilator

Designation: War Cruiser

Length: 8.2 kilometers

Armaments: 5 Hellfire Cannons, 9 Refracted Particle Cannons, 24 Tri-particle Cannons, 40 Phased Assault Cannons, 64 Shatterstar Missile tubes, 120 Anti-Fighter Laser Cannons, and a GAT Point Defense Web MkII.

Fighter Compliment: Carries 288 Stinger IIs, 144 Rapier IIs, and 144 Death’s Hands

Specs: Until the recent development of the Aesir class, the Annihilator was the most powerful ship class manufactured by GAT. With enough sheer power to fight four Scimitars to a standstill and enough fighters/bombers to turn a continent to slag, it is an incredible piece of work.

GH-WX 80 Scimitar

Designation: Warship

Length: 3.4 kilometers

Armaments: 3 Hellfire Cannons, 7 Refracted Particle Cannons, 18 Tri-particle Cannons, 32 Phased Assault Cannons, 40 Shatterstar Missile tubes, 96 Anti-Fighter Laser Cannons, and a GAT Point Defense Web.

Fighter Compliment: Carries 144 Stinger IIs, 72 Rapier IIs and 72 Death’s Hands.

Specs: One of the most reliable and sturdy ships ever developed by GAT, the Scimitar is a marvel of GAT engineering. The backbone of the Guanyan Fleet, it can take an impressive amount of damage and continue to function. Because of the design, at any time at least one third of the Scimitar’s weaponry can be pointed at a given target, thus removing the common weakness of “blind spots” where few weapons can depress enough to target an enemy ship.

GH-RX Extended Mission Warships

RX ships are designed to last longer in space without refueling than the GH-WXs, having no weapons that require the replacement of ammunition. This makes them useful for exploratory missions and drawn out military engagements in which support is meager and the likelihood of returning to base to refuel and rearm is slim. Fighters on the RX line ships have all torpedo and missile weapons replaced by other weapons that do not consume ammunition.

GH-RX 60 Phoenix Hawk

Designation: Strike Cruiser

Length: 2.7 kilometers

Armaments: 2 Hellfire Cannons, 8 Refracted Particle Cannons, 14 Tri-particle Cannons, 27 Phased Assault Cannons, 76 Demonfire Lasers, 84 Anti-Fighter Laser Cannons, and a GAT Point Defense Web

Fighter Compliment: 144 Stinger IIs and 144 Rapier IIs

Specs: The GH-RX 60 Phoenix Hawk was created to be a warship faster and more maneuverable than the Scimitar. The first ship of the new RX line, it carries the RX signature weapon, the powerful Demonfire Laser. It is mostly used for deep-space exploratory missions.

GH-RX 70 Silver Wolf

Designation: Destroyer

Length: 3.8 kilometers

Armaments: 4 Hellfire Cannons, 12 Refracted Particle Cannons, 20 Tri-particle Cannons, 38 Phased Assault Cannons, 86 Demonfire Lasers, 98 Anti-Fighter Laser Cannons, and a GAT Point Defense Web

Fighter Compliment: 144 Stinger IIs, 72 Death’s Hands, and 144 Rapier IIs

Specs: More powerful than the Phoenix Hawk, the Silver Wolf is actually a prototype design for the soon to be released GH-RX 80 Battleship, which will be of a similar design but larger and more powerful. The Silver Wolf is powerful in its own right, however, carrying weaponry about equivalent to the Scimitar but with the RX ability to stay in space for extended periods.

GH-CX Corvettes

The GH-CX line of ships are smaller, faster, and more maneuverable than any other line of Guanyan capital ships. They are primarily used as support vessels for the larger warships.

GH-CX 60 Angel Wing

Designation: Corvette

Length: 400 meters

Armaments: 3 Refracted Particle Cannons, 7 Tri-particle Cannons, 12 Phased Assault Cannons, 20 Shatterstar Missile Tubes, 36 Anti-Fighter Laser Cannons, and a GAT Point Defense Web.

Fighter Compliment: 36 Stinger IIs, 12 Rapier IIs

Specs: Previously to the construction of the Angel Wing class, GAT ships were primarily huge, powerful warships that relied more on overwhelming firepower than speed or maneuverability. Realizing that a greater variation in ship types would make the Guanyan Fleet more formidable, GAT developed this ship, used primarily for scouting and reconnaissance.

GH-CX 70 War Shrike

Designation: Cruiser

Length: 720 meters

Armaments: 1 Hellfire Cannon, 4 Refracted Particle Cannons, 10 Tri-particle Cannons, 18 Phased Assault Cannons, 28 Shatterstar Missile Tubes, 48 Anti-Fighter Laser Cannons, and a GAT Point Defense Web.

Fighter Compliment: 36 Stinger IIs, 36 Rapier IIs, 12 Death’s Hands

Specs: Based on the design of the Angel Wing, the War Shrike is a fast, maneuverable ship with greater weaponry than its predecessor. Still retaining the properties that made the Angel Wing a valuable addition to the Fleet, it has greater destructive capabilities for scouting missions that are expected to be dangerous. The addition of a Hellfire Cannon to the original design gives it even greater firepower.

GH-BX Bombers

Standard one-man bomber craft. One wing = 36 Bombers.

GH-BX 30 Vengeance

Designation: Bomber

Armor Thickness: 15 cm

Dimensions: 9 x 5 x 3 meters

Armaments: Two Particle Cannons, two Shatterstar Missile tubes, three customizable drop points (normally loaded with two plasma explosives and one fusion bomb)

Specs: The GH-BX 30 Vengeance is a reliable but not overly powerful bomber. One of the earlier bombers developed by GAT, it can inflict heavy damage on enemy surface sites or space-based sites but is vulnerable to attack from fighter craft. Thus, wings of Vengeance bombers usually have fighter escort to protect them from aerial threats.

GH-BX 50 Death's Hand

Designation: Heavy Bomber

Armor Thickness: 20 cm

Dimensions: 11 x 7 x 4 meters

Armaments: 4 Bi-Particle Cannons, 4 Phased Assault Cannons, 4 Shatterstar Missile Tubes, and one Apocalypse Missile tube

Specs: The Death’s Hand Heavy Bomber is the most powerful non-capital ship in the Guanyan Aerospace Navy. Considerably more powerful than the Rapier II, it has twice the weaponry with only a small reduction in speed. The addition of the newly developed GAT Apocalypse Missiles gives it even more punch, making it one of the most powerful bombers available. A wing of these bombers is a truly awe-inspiring sight.

GH-FX Fighters

Standard one-man fighter craft. One wing = 36 Fighters. (The Stinger II is an exception. It is unmanned and has 72 Fighters in a wing.)

GH-FX 20 Stinger II

StingerII.jpg

Designation: Swarm Fighter

Armor Thickness: 10 cm

Dimensions: 6 x 4.5 x 2 meters

Armaments: Three Stutter Cannons, two Wasp missile tubes, two Shatterstar Missile tubes, and HE payload

Specs: The GH-FX 20 Stinger II is a devastating unmanned close combat fighter controlled by a Class Six Robotic Intelligence. Combining incredible speed and maneuverability with excellent armor and short-range weaponry, the Stinger II is ideal for fighter versus fighter combat and strike missions on space platforms or stations. The Stinger II is also packed to the brim with plasma explosives and can perform devastating kamikaze runs on enemy formations. Unlike the original Stinger, this craft carries two Shatterstar Missiles, making it much more effective against enemy capital ships.

GH-FX 30 Rapier

Rapier.jpg

Designation: Starfighter

Armor Thickness: 15 cm

Dimensions: 7 x 6 x 3 meters

Armaments: 2 Particle Cannons, 2 Multi-Phasic Beam Cannons, and 2 Shatterstar Missile Tubes

Specs: The Rapier is the backbone of the Guanyan Aerospace Navy’s starfighter forces. Merely the fact that it has remained in widespread use even after the creation of the more advanced Rapier II is a testament to its usefulness and strength.

GH-FX 40 Rapier II

Designation: Assault Starfighter

Armor Thickness: 15 cm

Dimensions: 7 x 6 x 3 meters

Armaments: 2 Bi-particle Cannons, 2 Phased Assault Cannons, and 2 Shatterstar Missile Tubes

Specs: The Rapier II is GAT’s most advanced starfighter. Bested in sheer weaponry only by the Death’s Hand, it can inflict heavy damage upon enemy targets. 3 wings of Rapier IIs under clever commanders have been known to decimate entire fleets of enemy capital ships.

GH-SX Masada

Designation: Space Fortress

Dimensions: 23 km x 5 km x 5 km

Armaments: 4 CapKiller Cannons, 48 Hellfire Cannons, 72 Refracted Particle Cannons, 96 Tri-particle Cannons, 144 Phased Assault Cannons, 216 Mass Driver Cannons, 360 Anti-Fighter Laser Cannons, and a GAT Point Defense Web MkIII.

Fighter Compliment: 432 Stinger IIs, 288 Rapier IIs, 216 Death’s Hands

Docking Capability: Up to 48 capital ships of varying size, not counting support ships.

Specs: When asked to describe the new Masada Space Fortress, one GAT engineer could find nothing to say but “gargantuan.” The largest single device, vessel, or station ever designed by GAT, the Masada carries enough weaponry to single-handedly repel attacks from entire fleets of enemy capital ships. These stations take three years to build and are completely incapable of movement except for that of the correctional thrusters. They are mostly employed as military bases in systems where it is not feasible to use a planet as a base of operations.

Classified: GH-DX 80 Broadsword

Designation: Dwarf Cruiser

Length: Classified

Armaments: Classified

Fighter Compliment: Classified

Specs: The GH-DX 60 Broadsword-class Dwarf Cruiser is the newest addition to the Guanyan armada. Little is known about it, as none have ever ventured outside of Guanyan space and both the Guanyan government and the GAN flatly deny its existence. The only proof that the vessel does in fact exist is a sighting by a diplomatic envoy from the Federated Segments of Scolopendra of several of these vessels stationed well within Guanyan space.
