The Helghan Planet

The Helghan Planet is a very large region. The planet was colonised by the Helghast during the Halycon Period of Colonisation. The region is unique becuase of the atmosphere and air. The Helghan Planet's atmosphere anomalies caused many Helghast to lose their hair and many fall ill. The planet's atmosphere also had abilities to enhance the Helghasts's bodies and become stronger, more superhuman, to the Helghast that survived. The planet's landscape is a barren wasteland and the sky is dark orange - if living in this region, you will most likely see lightning in the sky. 62% of the region's landscape is polluted. But the other 38% is not but has very small lakes - that is the only source of water in the region. But the region has larger storms twice a month. The Helghast populace only expanded 42% of the large region - expanding mostly on the 38% that is not polluted. The Helghan Planet is protected by SAMs, Missle Silos, and Strategic Defence Platforms (SDP), that orbit around the planet's atmosphere. The SAMs prevent enemy missiles and aircraft from attacking Helghast soil. And the SDPs prevent any enemy vessels from getting close to entering Helghast airspace or getting past its radioactive atmosphere. So a quick invasion of The Helghan Planet means by getting past the many SDPs, wich is nearly impossible because of it's strength of defence and nearly unhackable servers and computers.
