The Ivheshbum

The Ivheshbum is the domestic league football system for The Pazhujeb Islands. The top division is known as Ivheshbu A. This is by far the smallest of the leagues, with only eleven annual participants. This odd tradition arose from the early years of football on the islands, when it was suggested that since there seemed to be an eleven-team block of top-level talent, and that since there are eleven players a side, there should be eleven teams in Ivheshbu A. Only one team is relegated from Ivheshbu A per year, and only one promoted from Ivheshbu B.

The other divisions contain twenty seven teams apiece, with four teams relegated between Ivheshbum B and C, C and D, et cetera.
