Architecture

Buildings built by The Longinean Order stick out in the cities in which they are built. Longinean buildings are characterized by dark colored stones and tall towers and spires. Gothic in design, they often have flying buttresses and ornate carvings and windows. Known as Neo-Gothic, Longinean buildings are designed as fortresses with thick walls and small paned windows set in metal.

Clothing

The Clothing worn by the priests of the Longinean Order are simple black shirts and pants with a white collar. When on official functions, the Priest-Knights usually wear some of their new Titanium-Ceramic Fullplate armor with a white tabard bearing a red cross. Bishops and the Grand Master usually wear vestments to formal occasions, and their breastplate over their normal clothes on normal occasions.

Recently, it has become fashionable to carry an ornate flintlock pistol and an ornate rapier around whenever they leave a TLO Outpost (Read church), and some have taken to wearing light shields on their back when doing so.

Women usually wear black dresses in the Empire style. If armed, they will usually bear twin derringers on their wrists or a larger pistol hanging from their belts.

All members of The Longinean Order wear large, red crosses and a rosary.

Military

When engaging in war, The Longinean Order is unique.

Whereas other nations prefer to sit back and shoot at their enemies, The Longinean Order prefers a more direct approach. When combat begins, Knights rush forward on specialized motorcycles, and use them and a set of advanced reflexes from advanced medical technology, to advance on enemy vehicles and personnel. They ride in bearing lances made of composites and aluminum.

The lances are designed so that they can attach c4 to the sides of tanks as they pass. Also, large coils inside the lances conduct electricity along the lance, allowing for a combination of electro-static and slashing damage. After the lances have been used, the knights switch over to vibrating swords for close combat, capitalizing on the lack of experience in close-quarters, TLO Knights often win with tactics such as these.

The Longinean Order possess 17 divisions of knights, and 21 divisions of infantry trained in close quarters combat.
