Summary
The One Hour War is a recent war between the Confederacy of the Far Echo Islands and the People's Sovereign Republic of British Loninium. The war broke out on August 1st 2007 shortly after the Confederacy declared dolphin personhood. It began with the Londinium Government withdrawing its notation of the Confederacy's sovereignty, and then the Confederates responding likewise. Both nations were offended, and as such, war was declared by British Londinium. However, in concern for his nation the Grand Arbiter, whose duties are much like that of the President of the United States, officially signed a declaration of surrender, and the war was over, about one hour from the Londii publicly declaring war, hence the name.
