The People of Rexxarae

The Rexxarean population, overall, is aspiring to reach one billion by 2007, and the country has done a rather good job at keeping Rexxareans from leaving (not by force, of course). Latinians and Germans, the europeans christians living in the south of the nation, account for less then 0.3% of the population, and are consistantly ignored as a minority. Despite common belief, the Rexxareans and Rexxaraeites are two different peoples. The Rexxareans are the ordinary majority latin and rexxarean language speaking people, accustomed to modern life and islam. The Rexxaraeites, who speak the rexxaraeite language, live in nomadic camps and preserves, accustomed to dark-age technology and living standards, though they are privilaged to run the state's casinos as compensation for their descrimination over the years. The remainder is made up of of a wide diversity of other ethnicities like Italian, Francois, German, Jewish, Arabian, and Indians.

Life expectancy in Rexxarae is average and stands at about 78 years. Rexxarean health care is public as a good remnant of the communist era, maintaining good health for all - the rich and the poor alike.
