The Cabinet

The Ministers of the Throne all have portfolios and responsibilities regulated to every vital department. Ministers are the highest representatives of departments and are directly answerable to the Hall of Councilors and the press for what goes on in their departments. As a Ministerial portfolio may be prestigious and powerful it is also extremely difficult to escape misdeeds within the departments by high ranking civil servants who are often more difficult to remove or catch.

Minister of Treasury (Keeper of the Vault)

Arguably the most powerful cabinet position after that of the Prime Minister himself, the Minister of Treasury acts as the accountant for the entire Arch-Imperium dividing up the money required for all departments and controlling Tax Revenues. The Treasury is also one of the most powerful departments as it is also responsible for property seizures that are always present when citizens or corporations evade their taxation responsibilities. The Minister of the Treasury is one of the most senior cabinet positions but it does not have authority over other cabinet ministers.

Minister of Foreign Affairs (Keeper of the Imperial Seal)

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs is a ministry of substantial importance as it oversees direct diplomatic relationships with other nations. In conjunction with ambassadors and diplomats all over the world the Ministry of Foreign Affairs oversees the protection of Xheng Nationals and businesses abroad. The Minister of Foreign Affairs often works with the Minister of Defense and Military Power for safeguarding the Arch-Imperium.

Minister of Justice (Keeper of the Imperial Code)

Headed by the Attorney General/Keeper of the Imperial Code the Minister of Justice is the chief lawyer and legal representative for the Arch-Imperium. The Minister of Justice has no influence over the Grand Archon who is actually a judge, but the Attorney General is a lawyer who can argue the Imperial Stratagem's case to the Grand Archon if a conflict emerges. The Minister of Justice introduces most legal laws into the Imperial Stratagem.

Minister of Defense and Military Power

Chief Administrator and Senior Military advisor to the Prime Minister and the Emperor and Imperial Proxy. The Minister of Defense and Military Power is also the secondary head of the military, under the Emperor himself. As with other responsibilities, the Imperial Proxy may take temporary head of the military command if the Emperor wishes. In accordinance to law, the Minister of Defense can instantly promote or demote any officer in the Army, Navy, or Air Force.
