Thuryaman Pendankr is the Director of Foreign Affairs for the Great Star Empire of Allech-Atreus, and has the distinction of being the longest-serving and eldest Director in Imperial history.
He began his service in the Foreign Affairs Directorate during the reign of Allech-Atreus XV, and slowly rose through the ranks thanks to his calm, collected nature, cunning, intellect, and capacity to foresee and resolve diplomatic problems. He has several nicknames in the government, some affectionate and some not, but the most common is "The Old Man," a that everyone knows refers to Pendankr.
He has served as the Emperor's Director of Foreign Affairs since the start of his reign, and has the distinction of being the oldest person to ever hold continuous service. His age is much higher than the average life expectancy, but there are no signs of him quitting. In fact, he has been known to say on numerous occasions that he won't be able to die until he completes all of his plans; the nature of which are never explained.
He is the granduncle of the Allech-Atrean ambassador to the UN Landaman Pendankr.
