Ti-Tech Industries began as a computer company. Through competition and aquisition they became the dominant force in Tidan's Information Technology and Robotics sectors, winning many government contracts. The tech giant then bought the military division of Rhoaltar Shipbuilding, the primary supplier of hardware for the Navy. With success in naval arms, Ti-Tech expanded into ground based arms manufacturing. Today Ti-Tech supplies 87%, and 68% of Tidan's home built naval and ground based weapon systems respectively.
When Tidan began it's space program Ti-Tech offered to buyout Redhawk Aerospace, one of Tidan's major civilian and military aircraft manufacturers. When the deal went through Ti-Tech won the contract to run Tidan's space program, and also gained the market share of the Airforce supplier. With the awarding of this contract Ti-Tech became the most powerful corporation in Tidan. While competition for government contracts are still held, Ti-Tech's dominance in so many sectors and record of success mean that they often win out.
