=Hyren Warriors=
 
Hyren Warriors were integrated into the Tidani Marines after the Hyren Kingdom joined the Republic. Hyren Warriors are ususally the larger and slower of the tribes. Their strength is incredible allowing them to carry large, heavy weapons.

A sword with a large energy blade to cut through the Hyren's tough hide when in battle.

The Personal Pulse Laser is a smaller version of the weapons on Tidani ships. It requires the Hyren operator to use both hands to fire the weapon and fires a steady laser pulse for up to 10 seconds. The weapon does not last long on its own power cells and is usually paired with a back carried additional power cell.

Single handed 50mm 6 barrel gatling gun is a devestating weapon weilded by the Hyren. It can spray the battle field streams of bullets. These weapons and their shields can turn Hyren into walking machine gun nests.

Hyren wear large plates of Reactive Armor, designed for them by the Tidani, like a giant suit of armor. The Reactive Armor is made of reactive cells, When struck the individual cells end up bunching together at the impacted location effectivly strengthening the armor where it is needed.
 
 
Hyren armor does not carry a shield, as the power needed to generate a powerful and large enough shield would be too heavy and too hot to warent carrying one. Instead Hyren carry an energy tower shield, that can reflect energy and projectile fire. The shield is embedded in their forearm armor plating and when activated projects an energy shield large enought to protect from their fact down to their knees.
 
 
The wearer can select a camouflage color and pattern, which the suit can display at any time. Options include rank reflective colors and camouflage from jungle to ocean to desert. Rank reflective colors are the same as the Tidani suits.
 
 
The helmet is capable of supplying oxygen to the soldier from a pack of bacteria that convert small amounts of energy into oxygen. It is also capable of filtering chemicals and biotoxins out of the air breathed by the warrior.

The Tidani Marines

The Tidani Marines are the infantry forces of the Republic. Under the command of Marine Command, a division of the Navy, the marines are responsible for 'ground' actions on land, under water, and in space. The Marines include many different classes and wield many different weapons to respond to a variety of threats.

Weapons

The Tidani have developed several unique weapons living under water. Regular projectile weapons are useless, thus melee weapons lasted much longer and were finally replaced by energy weapons.

Plasma Rifle

The Blue Plasma Rifle is the short range staple for Tidani troops. It fires blue-white plasma at high velocity and can be fired automatically. It is inclined to overheat rapidly, and is limited by a built-in failsafe system that kicks in once its temperature reaches a certain level. Short, successive bursts of fire tend to work best, particularly against energy shields. When its battery is exhausted an energy magazine can be used to recharge the rifle.

Carbine Rifle

The Carbine Rifle fires high speed crystaline projectiles at medium to long range. It has a high accuracy and rate of fire. It fires single bursts and is not automatic. Magazines reload the carbine and it comes with a scope.

Beam Rifle

The Beam Rifle is the Tidani sniper rifle, with holographic zoom capabilities and heavy stopping power. It fires an accelerated particle beam. The Beam Rifle has an integral battery that is limited to eighteen shots; like other energy weapons, it overheats with repeated fire but does not need reloading.

Torpedo Launcher

The portable Torpedo Launcher fires explosive anti-ship torpedoes. This weapon is only used under water.

Rocket Launcher

The Torpedo Launcher is the heavy weapon for under water but it is useless above the surface. The portable Rocket Launcher fires explosive missiles with a homing capacity. Its rockets have a large blast radius and can be devastating when used against groups of assailants. It is also an anti-vehicular weapon of great potency.

Energy Sword

On Aquila projectile weapons barely existed until energy weapons were created, this let melee weapons evolve much longer. The end result is that melee weapons are still very popular and this can be seen with the use of the Energy Sword.

Plasma Grenade

The plasma grenade has the ability to distinguish between organisms and scenery. A plasma grenade will stick to organisms and explode three seconds after contact with that organism. It is also able to stick onto vehicles. The plasma grenade will also explode three seconds after coming to rest.

Armor

The pearlescent armor used by Tidani Marines contains a small energy shield that protects the wearer from attack. The battery for the shield, however, once drained leaves the marine unshielded and will take several minutes of uninterrupted charging to reactivate.

Armored Units

Wraith Mortar Tank

The Wraith

Wraiths are single-driver hover tanks, and are surprisingly maneuverable and fast for their size. The Wraith also has a boost function, which triples the speed of the craft for about a second. It is very effective in ramming infantry, preventing them from climbing atop the tank and pounding the driver out. The boost function is also useful for ramming and destroying vehicles that might be pestering the tank, since the Wraith has trouble dealing with large numbers of the smaller vehicles.

The Mortar Cannon

They are armed with a powerful plasma mortar gun that fires in an parabolic arc, and is in a fixed position on the rear deck, above engine compartments and behind the pilot. These massive plasma shells burn with such power that it turns everything around it to liquid, and are capable of destroying vehicles and troops with a single hit.

Defensive Cannons

Wraiths also has twin plasma cannons that can attack nearby targets in front of the tank. The tank is fairly vulnerable to very close enemies and can be destroyed most effectively with explosive weapons.

Aquila Battle Engine

Battle Engine

The Battle Engine is the Tidani solution to needing different armored vehicles for land and sea operations, and the need to switch when moving directly from one theatre to another. In the past this has ment that infantry forces can be left unprotected by Armor while their previous units are left behind and new one arrive. The Battle Engine will solve this problem. Named Aquila, the Battle Engine is a single piloted armored unit that can transfer between land, air, and sea. Though it can fly and moves around the battle field much faster in the air it is not really viable as an aerial fighter and thus is only considered a land and sea 'tank'.

On Land

On the land or on the sea floor the BEA utilizes its walker mode with four long and slender legs. Above infantry it can mow them down with its four plasma cannons, or if enemy infantry are beneath it, activate its landing thrusters and burn the enemy. It also has a rocket launcher above the cockpit that can fire a variety of munitions from anti-armor to anti-personnel.

In Sea and Air

While in the Sea and the Air the BEA takes the same form, walker legs retracted behind to act as rudders. In this mode it can fly through the air and sea to quickly move from location to location powered by two ion drives. In this mode the plasma cannons and rocket launcher are still available and in the water or above the water two torpedo tubes can be used. The BEA can enter water in walker mode if the sea floor is forgiving, but this is much slower than in flight mode.

Storm Rider Omnifighter

Storm Riders are the Marines' Air Superiority Fighter. They keep enemy bombers off the infantry's back while on the battle field.

Hurricanes are the Marines' Strike Fighters. They will take out enemy armor and defensive possitions as well as provide close air support for troops.
