The Tidani Marines are the infantry forces of Tidan. Under the command of Marine Command, a division of the Navy, the marines are responsible for 'ground' actions on land, under water, and in space. The Marines include many different classes and wield many different weapons to respond to a variety of threats.

Weapons

Body Armor

Tidani infantry and marines use armor crafted by the Mandalorians. It allows a great deal of freedom of movement while protecting the vital areas of the body and providing resistance to lightsaber and energy fire.

TOWER

Tactical Power Armor, refered to as TOWER, is heavy power armor deployed by Tidan and developed closly with the former nation of Yukatania. Because TOWER is very expensive it is not used in large numbers. TOWER is the standard armor supplied to the Special Recon Forces and has also been used by high risk and elite members of the Emerald Guard.

The armor is fitted with a personal encasing shield as well as an energy force shield which deploys from a module on the arm.

KEEP

Kinetic Enhanced Enforcement Power Armor, or KEEP Armor, is based on Tidan's TOWER armor and tailored for use by members of the Shield of Nav refered to as Shield Knights. It is more heavily built than the TOWER model which was optimized for speed and agility. KEEP is built for protection and can afford to be heavier because it is designed to be used by pilots who have superhuman strength and abilities.

The suit does significantly reduce the agility of the user as well as prevent the use of Weirding. Therefore it is used on preference of the Knight, mostly by those who rely more on strength over agility where the suit does not hinder their power as much. It is most often used in cases of heavy combat, hazerdous environments, intimidation, or a show of force or authority.

Shield Knights are encouraged to customize and personalize their armor to make it represent their character and spirit. As a result no two KEEPs are exactly the same however they all follow a similar theme. The armor shown belongs to Patriarch Ultan and so is much more extravegant than the typical model. As they advance through rank and receive recognition for deeds well done, they are given relics and materials to ornament their armor further. This means that the more ornate and decorated the armor the higher the rank of the Knight inside. This often seems a stark contradiction to their vow of poverty but their public appearance is designed enstils pride and confidence in the people of the communities where the Knights serve.

KEEP Armor has a personal shield powered by holy runes and relics which have been blessed by Nav to provide the Knights with sanctuary from harm.

Light Armor

Very fast and almost unprotected, the Mongoose is all about speed. It's main purpose is to move a man and supplies from point A to point B fast.

Warthog

The Warthog light reconnaissance vehicle sacrifices armor for speed. It is able to move 3 men at high speed in most configurations. It is available in several different configurations to meet different mission roles. The LAAV shown here holds a gauss turret providing significant and mobile armor penetration. The LRV has a mounted chain gun to mow down soft and lightly armored targets. The LTT replaces the turret mount with a rollcage to fit up to three more men in the rear. Warthogs can also easily tow trailers to increase the number of men or supplies they can transport.

Armored Units

The CRAAB Main Battle Tank is a medium tank capable of traversing very difficult terrain thanks to its unique four independent tred system. It has a crew of two, a pilot and a gunner. The main cannon is 100mm and is complimented by a 10mm machine gun.

Battle Engine

The Battle Engine is the Tidani solution to needing different armored vehicles for land and sea operations, and the need to switch when moving directly from one theatre to another. In the past this has ment that infantry forces can be left unprotected by Armor while their previous units are left behind and new one arrive. The Battle Engine will solve this problem. Named Aquila, the Battle Engine is a single piloted armored unit that can transfer between land, air, and sea. Though it can fly and moves around the battle field much faster in the air it is not really viable as an aerial fighter and thus is only considered a land and sea 'tank'.

On Land

On the land or on the sea floor the BEA utilizes its walker mode with four long and slender legs. Above infantry it can mow them down with its four plasma cannons, or if enemy infantry are beneath it, activate its landing thrusters and burn the enemy. It also has a rocket launcher above the cockpit that can fire a variety of munitions from anti-armor to anti-personnel.

In Sea and Air

While in the Sea and the Air the BEA takes the same form, walker legs retracted behind to act as rudders. In this mode it can fly through the air and sea to quickly move from location to location powered by two ion drives. In this mode the plasma cannons and rocket launcher are still available and in the water or above the water two torpedo tubes can be used. The BEA can enter water in walker mode if the sea floor is forgiving, but this is much slower than in flight mode.

Sparrowhawk Gunship

The Sparrowhawk is a fast and agile gunship capable of doing heavy damage to even the most heavily armored vehicles as well as ripping through softer targets with deadly accuracy. It's primary roll has been close-air-support for groud forces and has excelled there. Created by the UNSC of Yukatania and was adopted by Tidan to replace their aging Serpent gunships.

Shortsword Bomber

The Shortsword is a fast high atmosphere bomber used primarily for planetary precision bombing missions. It is designed primarily for speed and stealth maximizing its survivability by avoiding combat. It carries warheads ranging from dumb kinetic to smart to atomics. They have been commonly refered to within the infantry as the angel of death.
