Treaty of Hoch River

The Treaty of Hoch River, also known as the '06 Hoch River Treaty or the Strello-Atrurian Colonial Declaration, was a bilateral treaty between the Empire of Atruria and the Kingdom of Streleheim, as a result of conflicting political views in Atruria. The idea for the agreement was created by the then-Emperor of Atruria, as the Imperial Parliament had decided to turn Atruria into a more isolationist nation. To steward their out-of-nation properties, the Atrurians looked immediately to their closest ally, Streleheim. Signed in early 2006, the Treaty transferred the governing power of Atrurian colonies, as well as the Atrurian Foreign Legion over to the Strellic government. Additionally, the treaty returned Hochland, an ethnically Strellic province of Atruria, back to Strellic authority.
