Early Life
Not much is known about his early life, other than he was born to Jotan Kelangat and Lady Erkidia Quesz in Serasarda, where he was raised. In 510 at age 20 he joined his father's army on a campaign to subdue rebellious Dayan tribes in the southeast, which resulted in a victory at Mazeth. However, as King Jotan's army pushed on they required reinforcements, and Trimna was dispatched to Serasarda to gather additional forces.
After he had departed, Jotan's army was attacked by Bajeong forces seeking to add that area of Dayan to their Empire, and was defeated and killed. Trimna was crowned King of Serasarda at age 20, and immediatly began building a powerful army to avenge his father's death.
King
After his coronation, Trimna immediatly called out the various nobles who owed him vassalage and offered them lands in exchange for their forces. He also sent out to the various cities to the east in Sring Issa, and joined in a League to oppose the Bajeong who had begun to threaten their eastern borders. After a series of actions from 512 to 516, Trimna finally amassed a powerful enough host to penetrate Bae and ravage the Bajeong borderlands.
His prowess in battle was made visible at Yanzy in 518, when he led a cavalry charge to break the back of the Bajeong infantry and win the day. Trimna's forces continued their penetration into Bae, and in 520 burnt Ang Mat, a powerful Bae fortress-town, to the ground. Returning to Serasarda to gather reinforcements, Trimna ordered sacrifices to be made and a new temple to be built in honor of the war spirits who aided him.
In 524 he returned to Bae with a new host, and succeeded in routing a powerful Guea army under Akkharu Uggae, ending any effective resistance from the Bae from thence. Marching further than any other before him, he led his army to Pholimjung and looted the city, killing the Gueang and effectively ending the Bajeong hegemony.
Later life
Unable to effectively administer Bae as a province, and unwilling to be away from Serasarda for too long, Trimna led the League armies back to Sring Issa loaded with the riches of Bae, which would influence Sringi art and culture for years to come. He died in 550 CE, after ruling for another 20 years without much controverysy.
Legacy
Trimna, through his conquest of Bae, carried back to Sring Issa treasures, slaves, and ideas that would later influence Sringi culture. The Temple of the War Spirit, built by Trimna in 524, is the last major building constructed in Sring Issa before the infusiong of Bajeong ideals, and remains an example of Sringi architecture in the early period.
Trimna III is considered a national hero by many Sringi for his work in strenghtening Sring Issa. However, many Bajeong criticise excessive adoration of the King, who was essentially famous for destroying the Guea civilization, and attribute all the development of Sring Issa to the fact that he plundered and carried much of Bae's riches back to Serasarda.
