Trotternish Peninsula

Overview

The Trotternish Peninsula is situated in the North East of the Kingdom of Portrigh.

The Provincal capital is the city of Uig. There are also two large towns, Staffin and Flodigarry. Dotted around the Province are several small towns and villages. Notably the village of Duntulm.

Duntulm used to be the seat of one of the Clans, NicDonalds, that made up the Kingdom of Portrigh in ancient times. Now it lies in ruins with just the odd tourist wondering among them. The village has shrunk over the years and only has a population of around 1500 people now adays.

There are many things to see and do in the Province. There's a musuem dedicated to Dinosaurs, fantastic rock formations including the Old Man of Storr and the Kilt Rock. There are several viewpoints in the province which give stunning views of the coast and mountains.
