Overview

True Canaan is a small interstellar empire composed of eleven planets in the Sefirot System, ten of which are ruled over by individual Governors, who all report to the Emperor Solomon III. Although an ancient tradition of yearly exodus has kept the population incredibly small, recent political developments have been enacted to increase the dwindling population. In spite of a lack of manpower, due to ancient texts and millennia of research, the empire has an incredible level of technology.

Technology

True Canaan's level of technology is of an incredible level, especially in military fields.

Combat Armors

Canaanite archaeologists discovered ruins on the planet Jacob which contained schematics detailing humanoid combat weapons and incomplete executions of said schematics. Seeing the versatility of the design, Canaanite officials adapted the old designs and pressed them into service two millennia ago; since then, the designs have evolved in a number of ways, forming the backbone of Canaanite military forces.

  • CXCA-001x 'Vice' : These seven Combat Armors are used only by the seven Regents of True Canaan. Their output exceeds that of other Armors to the point that normal soldiers cannot pilot them. Identical in exterior design, their internals have been tuned to pilot specifications; each also features an identifying color. The Vice frame is capable of mounting many different types of equipment, including a miniaturized Compressor Drive.

Other

Compression Space: Based upon old texts, the Canaanite scientist Joshua Zeklin learned that by arranging energy-emitting nanomachines in a specific formation, one could 'fold' space to shorten distances. 'Compression space' (also known as 'C-Space') refers to the folded area, which appears to internal observers as a tunnel of light; external observers only see the entry and exit points, which appear as flashes of light. Travel through compression space requires increasingly larger amounts of energy as the distance to be compressed and the mass of the traveling object increases; it is therefore incredibly unusual to see anything besides warships using Compressor Drives.

Compressor Drive: A Compressor Drive (also: C-Drive) refers the equipment necessary to create C-Space; in warships, these packages lack their own generators. When considered as additional equipment to Combat Armors or small ships, Compressor Drives feature an internal generator that can be used by the main unit as an auxiliary power system. Due to their power requirements, supplementary C-Drives are used only to travel large distances.
