Educational System
The Tse Moana school system consists of three to five levels, depending on how far a person wants to continue on learning. The first three levels are compulsory while Levels four and 5 are by choice.
Level 1
Level 1 is early education for children aged 4-10. In the first two years, children are prepared for learning. Here they do not have assignments and things that need to be finished. They learn the alphabet and how to count but besides that, it is mostly educational playing to prepare them for their school career. In years 3-6, kids learn to read, write and do basic math as well as an introduction to history and the sciences. Besides that, art, music and sports play a big role as well.
Level 2
Level 2 is meant for kids aged 10-14. The four years this takes broadens their knowledge by delving deeper into material. Reading, writing, math and history are deepened, the sciences are divided up into specific subjects (biology, physics, chemistry) and sociopolitical sciences is added. Arts, music and sports remain as well.
Level 3
Level 3 is the last step of the compulsory educational fases and lasts from 14-19. In these five years, the subject matter of the previous level is again deepened and history is now split up into Moan history and Equilism history. Kids are also offered extra subjects to take if they so desire. What choices are available differs per school but every school has to offer at least three additional languages (including Equilismerian), one additional scientific field (like astronomy for example) and three additional creative subjects. Schools may choose to offer new subjects besides art and music, or subdivide these into disciplines.
Level 4
Level 4 is university, there is no particular age for this group but the different studies that can be undertaken range from 4 to 6 years generally.
Tse Moana has 25 universities, five in each Province. Of which two in each Provincial capital. All universities are of good quality but the Ivy League universities are Rovallen Academy, Rovallen City, Abredin City and Shekestri College.
Level 5
Level 5 is the highest level and when finished, students receive a title equivalent to Ph.d. Generally, studies here last 4 to 6 years as well.
