Climate&Geography

The Uppermines is a stunning environmental friendly Region.
Mountains with outlying platues' can be found almost anywhere and snow covers most of the lands.Despite the large amount of snow the region has all four seasons, but the summers and springs are usually colder then most other regions, temperature usally are in the Mid-60F.
Plains and grassy fields are common with many unique plants and creatures that inhabit them.

One of the most unique things about the Uppermines is the mountain it was built on;
(now inhabited by Andulinea)Has many tales, one is about a Witch doctor that might of been reincarnated,
these stories mainly originate from the peoples of Ivoryshadows. Named Mount Kebert Xela,
It is the highest point of the Uppermines and is usually covered with snow.
Another natural landmark is the plains of Utawa
(see Crosdale for more information) where the Epic battle of the 'Oracle' took place.

The Uppermines is covered not only by mountains and plains, but in the south-east corner the desert
of Niwaj covers roughly 75.7sq. Ft of the Uppermines.(about 0.7% of the region)

History

The Uppermines has been in existence for 437 Years, Founded on top of Mount Kebert Xela,
by the leaders of the free slaves,
Mookie and Demois(the great grandfathers of Mazaloth,(see Characters in Andulinea) and Crosdale.

There were recovered papers of a slave that wrote down all of the happenings of the ordeals and beginning of the Uppermines. This is the log.

(Chapter 1 log)Slave Master: Swing, hit. Swing hit. Swing hit. One more pause and your dead Mookie. Just for his mess up all of you will be swinging that pickaxe faster! Hit. Hit. Hit. Hit. Come on, pick up the pace, I don’t care how tired you get. We will have the 1,000lbs that we’re supposed to get per day! Come on! Mine that copper faster! Hit! Hit! Hit! At the end of the day in their cells- Mookie to Demois: Double damn the slave master! I can’t stand this anymore. We need to end all this. We were all born to be free, not captive. Its time to take a stand!

Demois: Get real. Of course we are supposed to be free but what can we do about it? We were born as slaves and we will die as slaves.

(Chapter 2 log)Mookie: Let me tell you about a dream I had last night. We were climbing up a mountain. Half way up I look down and there is the slave master in fetal position crying. We finally get to the top of the mountain and I ground a flag into the dirt. And on the flag it says Uppermines on it. I believe it said Uppermines because we were above(upper) the mines.

Demois: Wow. How inspiring *rolls eyes*. But, you might be going somewhere with that. Maybe we are meant to be free…

Mookie: No, you don’t say…

Demois: Don’t’ get smart with me. But how would we do this? We need to plan it out. I mean really plan it. You don’t just run away like a prison brake. We need to get the other slaves involved.

Mookie: You get the message around and leave the rest to me.

(Chapter 3 log)Demois: All right Mookie that I can handle. I'm going to tell them tomorrow around the barracks.

Mookie: All right. Good. Good. I'll be planning until then. (Later on)
Mookie: My fellow slaves! It is time that we uplift the thumb of oppression that we call The Pacific. It is time see day light again! We are to rise above the rest. Cut away all ties and bonds to our oppressors. We need to...

Audience member 1: You’re insane! Do you understand that you need more than a dream! You need a plan!

Mookie: If you didn't interrupt you would have known that I was getting to that.

Audience member 2: Hey! Who says you should be doing al this! We need someone with leadership!

Audience member 1: Yes! Before we overthrow government, we need to overthrow…Mookie! Come one! Who names their child that?

Random people: Yeah! Take him down!

(Chapter 4 log) Mookie: Vegas! *crowd gets quite* that’s more like it! Now, everyone remain quiet. We are going to be free. Lives may need to be sacrificed. But that’s a sacrifice I am willing to take! Okay, for some reason, there is only one guard. Why can’t we just attack him…?

Audience member # 1: Um…why haven’t we ever thought of that?

Mookie: Who knows? Well first things first. Demois your rock comes closest to the path he walks on daily. Your mission is to kill him. But when he is walking by you he will know if you stop picking for a second. We will need to pick up the pace when he gets near Demois for it will make up for the lost sound. After

Demois: And what if I stab him and he survives? He has that shot gun.

Mookie: Then we need to figure out how to get it out of his hands at the same time. Anyone have any ideas. Audience member # 1: Hello my name is John. I have an idea. The person next to Demois can use his axe to pull on his leg and trip him. Then on his way down, Demois can stab him, repeatedly if necessary.

(Chapter 5 log)Demois: I like that plan. Thank you, John.

Mookie: Okay so it’s decided that what we are going to use to stall for time. We still need a plan to get out that is just going to give us time to execute a plan.
Demois (to him): I’m glad he had that dream. This is really going great. Everyone is happy but what if this fails? What will be the consequences? Can we keep this going? And if we get above ground, wouldn’t people realize that we are running away? The police and citizens would surly see us and realize that we are slaves.

(Chapter 6 log) Mookie: Well let’s see. John, what do you think? You seem to have good ideas.

John: Well after we kill that would give us time to break away our chains. We can use our pickaxes to keep picking at the chains. And from there I think you should decide. You after all are the person who is supposed to be leading us.

• silence*

Mookie: Well Yes. Very well. *clears throat* Okay lets plan for what going to go on after we get passed the guards and get above ground…..

Slave Master: All right you maggots, what’s up? Why are all of you so….sufficient today… Is it because of my great skills? Hahaha You bet! *walks near Demois* Well don’t you look cherry today. You have permission to speak on why you are today.

Demois: Thank you sir. Well, I finally realized what a great thing we got here. I mean come on. We work during the day for strength, we get a shelter and we are fed. On the behalf of all the slaves I would love to thank you. You’re such a glorious master.

S.M Awe isn’t that sweet. I almost puked! *starts to walk away.* Anymore kissing up and you *tripped* Argggh! *stabbed* Omg! Oo ah eek. *spits up blood* I’ve been stabbed IN THE BUSH.

Everyone: Whooo!

Mookie: Vegas! Do you want the other slave masters to hear? Now we got a lot of work to do. Let’s get picking at our chains.

(Chapter 7 log) Mookie (to him-self): Oh, would you look at that? It’s so shiny. Hmm I wonder what is. Why haven’t I ever seen this before? It must have been buried deep. I hope its something good. *swings at the red spot*

{Slave note to Mookie}- You shouldn’t have done that. Here is the line up There’s the red spot, your partner and then you in a line. What or who do you think your going to hit first? You’re not close enough!

• Hits your partner*

Nameless partner: Ahh! Why would you do that?!

John: Oh no! It was Mookie! He has gone mad with rage! We must end his life before he strikes another!

Demois: No! He didn’t do it on purpose! Look at the wall there. He was attempting to dig something up.

• John looks*: I don’t see anything. *spot vanished*

Mookie: Well there was a spot there! You have to trust me! Demois help me!

Demois: You have to believe him. He got us this far, along with help form John, so why he randomly kill someone. Maybe his eyes were mistaken but can you blame him?

John: Yes he should have been concentrating on the matter among us.

(Chapter 8 log) Demois: (Hmm what should I do? I got to get them to settle down.) *licks Mookie’s face* Kill him!

• others get quiet*

Mookie: OMG! What the hell was that?

Demois: It got them quiet didn’t?

Mookie: You could have gotten them to clap once then twice or yelled Vegas! Ugh! That was just sick. *turns to the others* everyone! Do you want someone as ….weird and queer as that? I say we sacrifice him to the gods and ask for protection on our long voyage that shall come!

Everyone: Yeah! Get him!

Author: And so they took their pickaxes and stuck a spark on a pile of rags that they had and made a fire. They threw in some extra spices that one of the women had to create some smoke that represents cleansing the soul. Then they pitched Demois into it.

Mookie: now the gods should be happy! And now let’s continue our plan!

...And so they broke the rest of their chains and busted into the next mining area to free the rest of the slaves but once they got there were five military leaders there....

(Chapter 9 log) Author: And So you allow your selves to get captured. They get you above ground, but because of your work most of the chains were destroyed. You get above ground and...

Mookie: Now my brothers and sisters! WE strike now! Have no mercy!

Author: And so you fight. All slaves armed with a pickaxe, the slaves, well not much of anything but a few do have guns. While the slaves in the other section fights John decides to speak up.

John: Go, the ones in our group must run while the others fight, its the only way for our escape to still have a point! Our sacrifice won't be in vain! *shot* ugh! Run! *collapses*

Mookie: We flee now! They will be our diversion. Come, to the docks, there we will make our escape to greater lands above the mines! We will be the Uppermines.

(Chapter 10 log) Mookie: My group, I will be back there is something that must be done by me before we leave. Please, until I get back search this place for a ship to take.

• Now where you saw Siomed*

Mookie: Siomed! Where are you? I demand that you come back and talk to me!

Siomed *appears from around a corner*: Oh so Mookie decided to come back to the…freak.

Mookie:…Um yeah sorry buts just that I realized, Siomed, your names sounds so familiar. Are you the spirit of Demois?

Siomed: NO! How could you have ever guessed that?*rolls eyes* Of course I am.

Mookie: Why would you come back to help me after we killed sacrificed you to the gods?

Siomed: Because now I have knowledge of insight. I know what can happen before it happens. I shall guide you, but I must stay here. Take this, it’s the ruby you tried taking out when you accidentally killed your partner.

Mookie: So that what it was. But how did you..? Why are you giving it to me?

Siomed: All in good time Mookie. It will reveal its self when your half way to your designation.

Mookie: All I know is that we are sailing away. I don’t know where I’m going!

Siomed: You must head south for three nights, from there the ruby will guide you to land of great mass. *vanishes*

Mookie: Thank you?

[author note] They can’t see the ruby Random person from group: Mookie your back! We found a ship!

Mookie: Good!

Author: So you board the ship and set sail. Now you must give talk to your people. Some are happy to be leaving, some are afraid. How are you going to take care of this?

Mookie: GENTLEMEN,BEHOLD! For too long we have been oppressed, used, and for too long have we dealt with the torture of the mines, But no more, Once we leave we can make our own society, all of us can be the master, so my friends let us be free! Let us see the sanctuary of the SUN!

(Chapter 11 log) Author: After your speech everyone has calmed down. They have 100% faith in you. They can trust you to be their leader. The three days and nights have been pretty uneventful. You told them what Siomed had told you about the ruby and where has come from. Now it is the fourth day and you yet to see anything from the ruby.

Mookie: Blast this damned thing! It will be the death of us all if it doesn’t work! You damn ruby you would activate if you know what’s good for you! Man look at me, I’m getting all worked out over an inanimate object. Siomed why would you lie to me?

Author: As if one cue to what you said, the ruby begins to levitate and emit a red light.

Mookie: OMG! FTW? What is happening? *the ruby begins to unfold into a flat red square.* Erm…alright now what?

Author: A figure is formed my the light now and it slightly resembles a human. It begins to speak.

Figure: A great friend of mine told me you will be heading this way and that I should be your guide. I believe you know this person as Siomed, formerly Demois.

Mookie: Thank you great…whoever you are.

Figure: I am Kebert Xela. From here you are to continue your journey west. Once you pass an island that sort of looks like a crescent moon you will see two explicit landmarks. They are about an hour after the island. These landmarks are two boulders from the oceans floor. One will look like a Cobra while the other, will look like an Eagle. There you must make your choice. Go north from the eagle, or go South from the Cobra. The choice is yours. This message will now self-destruct.

Mookie: Self-destruct? What? *it explodes*

Author: The explosion knocks you out for about an hour,. You passed the crescent island but fortunately for you a crew member was listening and decided to keep sailing the ship toward those two marks.

(Chapter 12 log) Mookie: *waking up* Arg! Ugh! What happened? Why does it feel like I've been hit in the head?

Best Mate: Well sorry Sir. But You were blasted in the face by the exploding ruby. Lucky I was eavesdropping and heard the message. SO I took the wheel and kept us sailing toward the two stones.

Mookie: Good work! When do you think we will get their?

Best Mate: Look around, don't you them.

Mookie: Oh...Don't get smart with me. Okay, now witch one will I go with...Since we had to sneak out to escape, it wouldn't be the Eagle. So I choose the Cobra. Men, its time we head South! Mookie: There it is! Free Land! Just like the ruby has promised! Thank Kebert Xela! *turns to everyone* We are free! Onward we march onto the land! We must settle here and find anything we possible use live off! It’s a long journey ahead of us but with pure will and determination we can do it!

Author: Thee affect of Demois’s third choice starts now! We are skipping ahead one year to get to the last two chapters!

Author: In the one year since you’ve got their you set up a two villages. You put Leon(your best mate) in charge of one your friends was out in charge of the other one. You however were put in charge of all. They must report to you. It turns out Kebert was lying through the ruby, it wasn’t exactly uninhabited . There was Kebert, and his tribe. Right now in this periods of time you are having a conference with him.

Mookie: What was the whole point of all of this? You gave us land to come to when we escaped from The Pacific. You even allowed to establish two fully developed villages. But now your telling me we gone to far. We weren’t supposed to govern our own villages?

Kebert: No! I brought you here! You should be grateful for that! And now its time to pay your debt. I was supposed to govern your people.

Mookie: You brought us here just to become slaves again!

Kebert: No. I did not say that, we would govern your people but you will still be free. Now bend to my will freely or it will be war.
So far this is all the Papers recovered from the Mines, more are soon to be found.

Nations of the Uppermines

• Andulinea:

Andulinea was founded by Mazaloth 55 years after the founding of the Uppermines.

• Crosdale:

Crosdale was founded by Crosdale 57 years after the founding of the Uppermines, Andulinea and Crosdale has a extensive history with each other.

• Ivoryshadows:

Ivoryshadows came to the Uppermines 100 years later from the beginning of the Uppermines, bringing along Bustling economics and Unique leaders.

• New Shuhan:

NewShuhan came to the Uppermines 115 years after the founding of the Uppermines. It was founded after the nation of Crosdale ceased to exist by Crosdale and his people. Crsodale then invited an old friend of his to join the Uppermines.

• G-Master:

G-master came to the Uppermines 115 years after the founding of the Uppermines. He came here along when Crosdale Founded NewShuhan.

• Raymonio:

Raymonio is still unknown about.

• Pickeleville:

Pickeleville is still unknown about.

Landmarks

Besides the Glorious nations that inhabit the Uppermines, there have been several historic events causing the safeguard of the places where they happened.

• Mount Kebert Xela:

Mount Kerbert Xela is where the Uppermines was founeded by the leaders of the free slaves (Mookie and Demios).
The History of the slaves can be found in the 'History' part of this artical.
The mountain is the highest point of the uppermines and looking over the edge you can see most of the Uppermines beautiful scenery, because of it's high peak it usally snowing and mildly-cold.

• Desert of Niwaj:

The(only)Desert of the Uppermines is located south-east of Mount Kerbert Xela. The temperture is ALWAYS at 90*F, Even at night the heat stays extremly warm, Not much is known about Niwaj, but strange bursts of quakes, happen every now-and-then. Some say that in the center of the desert there is an oaisis of water thats inhabited by amazonian women who protect the 'mystical' presence that emitts from the desert.(not yet to be concluded)

• Plain of Utawa:

This landmark is considered the most remembered because of the battle of the Oracle took place. The only time all of Uppermines' nations were at war with each other. A total of 317,006 deaths were recorded.
