The United Socialist States of Holyboy and the 666s is a very large, socially progressive nation, notable for its absence of drug laws. Its hard-nosed, hard-working population of 82 million enjoy some of the most opulent lifestyles in the region, unless they are unemployed or working-class, in which case they are variously starving to death or crippled by easily preventable diseases.

It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent, pro-business government stops and the rest of society begins, but it juggles the competing demands of Social Welfare, Commerce, and Education. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 31%. Private enterprise is illegal, but for those in the know there is a slick and highly efficient black market in Gambling.

Skateparks can be found in every city, citizens are permitted to carry concealed handguns, students are known to arrive at school in their pyjamas, and scientists regularly clone human beings for research purposes. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is moderate, probably because of the country's utter lack of prisons. Holyboy and the 666s's national animal is the blue the angry duck, which is also the nation's favorite main course, and its currency is the psycotic zebra.
