GCON's growing
You will probably say no but we would like our category to be listed somewhere in the UN category as the enemies of the UN. We have been trying to add as much as we can that has happened in GCON like all our Rp's and trying to tie them all together to make a great long story. We see this site as a great way of doing this and enjoy using it. If their were to be some sort of fee to this maybe we can come to some sort of arrangement. Thankyou (even though this might just seem annoying)

Idea
I saw the discussion on Social welfare - and I agree entirely with the cause of complaint. What strikes me is that if it's a repeated problem, perhaps a message should be added to either the main page or the "create new article"/"edit article" pages to warn people about keeping submission content relevent to NS?

Yep, sad to say, it does seem that the prevention is ignored and too many want the cure. Maybe I should scour a little more often. IdioC- エドの狂いtalk 09:10, 3 Jan 2005 (GMT)

About the Megadoomer Union of Nations
Thanks for your concern, Fris. Each of the nation pages you see in that list were created by that nation's owner, and not by me or anyone else, so I don't think that can be constituted as Regional Nation Spamming. I'm aware that a couple of the nations' pages are very bland right now (as in, all they've done is their infobox -_-) but I can assure you that they'll fill their data in soon -- and don't worry, I have no intention of making "placeholder" pages for our nations -- they'll make their own wiki pages when they get around to it.

As for all the red links in the list, it's nice to be able to see which of our nations have made their wiki pages (so I can pester those who haven't ;D), but if it's that big of a problem, I can un-link the nations that haven't made one yet and have them re-link it when they do...

Hmm... I see what you're saying about the links. I'll try to work something out. I'll try the Senate page idea.

Links?
Actually all of the links on my web page are ones that I intend to put onto the site. I wrote what is there, so, I don't understand the problem in leaving a few dead links there until i get around to doing it.

Also, I am not exactly that young... I do have over a billion, compared to some that is young yes. Also, for the sake of geopolitical simulation, am I not allowed to assume an existing nation and morph it into NS reality, that is the true excitement, thereby you are limited and must act accordingly. Also, you removed some links that weren't repeated. Note: The "Berlin Wall," I will specify was actually somethign we created... well in the forums.. and in orur minds in my region of Vassgsfjord. So.. I unlinked it form wikipedia.

Factbooks
I don't understand the difference between a factbook sub catagory and an article. Aren't they really the same?

Ok Fris, this is GCON talking.

One, yes we did vandalize some pages. As for you telling me to let GCON members make thier entries here.. well..

do a little research on GCON before you tell me what to do; I am the emperor of the region, and was asked to do this for them. I have one person helping, and so the entries are slow in the coming.

Also, please tell Kontrosena to die. He is a member of GCON.

I would like you to see what we are all about, so come check us out on out regional site, www.gcowar.com

Redirect of my talk page
I'm not sure how you found my name, but I'm no longer that active around NS. Still, I keep my nation active. I think I'll make my user page a redirect to my talk page, and that a soft redirect to my Wikipedia talk page. Alphax 09:17, 9 Mar 2005 (GMT)

Mea culpa
Sorry about incorrect redirect from North Pacific to The North Pacfic, I was just trying to keep things tidy. I picked up this habit on Wikipedia, and it doesn't transfer well to NSWiki because the leading articles, spacing and spelling are sometimes intentionally bizarre.

Another redirect I did included a typo (?) of Opressed (sic); I added my uncertainty on the redirect. I haven't created an account on NS Wiki; would this help you keep track of me and reduce the chances of me mucking things up rather than clarifying them as I truly indend?

Thanks for your efforts at the NSWiki.

Re: User_talk:Arancaytar#Image links in your category

That sounds like a good idea, yes. I'll check out Wikipedia's policy later today and see what I can find. ;)

Incidentally: The image links in the category currently do not work because the file names were spelled wrong. I was too rushed to verify I'd gotten them right - Laketomor.gif should actually be .jpg .

The :Image:Aeruillinmap.gif link should work correctly however; it does for me.

RL stubs
Uh, this article I wrote is not a real-world stub.

http://ns.goobergunch.net/wiki/index.php/Anti_Tank_Rifles

Yes, some of it is real world. however, I wrote it to have a category that the CM99 ATR would fit in. The regular Wiki does not have such an article in its database.

I goofed again
Hi again. I've just added two new articles and I think I need some help again (sorry). The first is Sacco & Vanzetti Satellite TV - which you'll notice has an ampersand in it. There's a rather long-winded explanation about why it's there but I only just realised it shouldn't be there as a wiki naming convention and it should have been piped so the page was "and" but the link said "&". How do I go about changing it? Do I create a new page with the proper naming convention, move the article there and then ask for someone to delete the "&" page?

Secondly, I also added a Peoples Proliferation page. There's no issues with this (as far as I'm aware) but I wondered how I go about putting both of these new pages into a category (if there is one). I've looked most places I can think of for information about how to do it and for a list of categories to see if there is a relevant one for either article but drawn a blank.

Thanks Sacco and Vanzetti 20:24, 24 Apr 2005 (GMT)

:Fris, I've responded to this at User talk:Sacco and Vanzetti#Your goofs. --Goobergunch|? 20:44, 24 Apr 2005 (GMT)

Deletion of articles
The deletion business seems quite complicated, so rather than risk messing it up, I thought I'd just say which articles, etc. ought to be deleted.

These are - the catagory "Shadow Imperium" and all articles within. The catagory "The Underground City" and all articles within:

Clonetopia

Random Pseudo-Anarchy

Shadow Imperium

Shadowsrealm

Starhawk

The Underground City

Walbats

YlimNeicna

Death Knights of The Underground City

Niogoul-Maeromirpli

Revolution of Niogoul-Maeromirpli

The Underground City

Underground City Reckoning

Vampires of The Underground City

Velfodnerset

Reasons for deletion:

1. The region "Shadow Imperium" no longer exists, and most of the nations within no longer exist.

2. The nations that do still exist have stubs for articles.

3. When (if?) I get The Underground City resurrected, I want to start the article(s) from scratch.

Thanks, T.U.C.
