Awe, I'm sorry. The table of contents, when it was shown, fit in fine. When you move to hide to table of contents though, the actual body of the page would jump up that whole space and become hidden beneath the map. I just put it back so it wasn't overlapping. It was a bit squishy. --Fodian Federa 02:05, 24 Oct 2004 (GMT)

Acronyms

Frisbeeteria: Just as a request ...
Frisbeeteria: We're trying not to establish a practice of redirecting short acronyms to longer pages
Frisbeeteria: there are too many people who use the same or similar ones
Frisbeeteria: we'd rather see [[Meritocratic Central Bank|MCB]] in the text of the article.

It is my understanding that this redirect will be changed to a disambiguation page when something else using the same acronym is found, so there should be no conflict. -- Wilem Engelking 08:08, 24 Oct 2004 (GMT)

Thanks

Thanks for that redirect, I didn't realise you were condensing the titles. You got the code wrong on the redirect though ;) And thanks for the offer of help. However, I've been a member of the main wikipedia site for long enough to know my way around, so I hope I can get by ok :)

As for condensing my page down, I didn't realise we were trying to save space like that. I figured I would structure my page as a scaled-down version of the kind you see on the main wiki site. Plus I like the way the main wiki does monarchs, with their own page and the little box showing their predecessors and successors. But if you want me to condense it, no probs, I'll just delete it and move the important stuff to my main page. -- Falastur 01:24, 25 Oct 2004 (GMT)

Nice. I only did character pages for just two of my Whittier characters and I listed the rest on the whittier page. Do I have to make pages for them too? What does it mean to condense a page?
