History

Sch'Naggio

Founded many thousands of years ago on its native plane of existence, Sch'Naggio was a Drow city, but a relatively young one when compared to the others such as Menzoberranzan, Llurth Drieir, Ched Nassad, and the others. Despite this, the feeling of newness caused many Drow to migrate there, and it prospered because of the easy access to raw materials and the nearby Duergar clans. A large river ran right through the city, and so while monsters were a constant problem, water, usually a rarity in the Underdark, was in no such short supply in Sch'Naggio. More, larger caverns were carved for the growing population, and Lloth and her fellow dark Drow deities prospered as they were worshipped by the Drow of the city. Sch'Naggio was a prosperous place for anyone-Provided you could survive your time in the city.

Kologk/Waterfront

Waterfront was a large coastal city in the anarchy that was the nation of Kologk. It was considered one of the more civilized areas of the nation, although it had its own share of problems. Waterfront was coastal and prosperous, but to the east and west were mountains, and to the south was a rainforest that was filled with unspoken dangers, and only a few brave scientists or prospectors wandered in. On the edge of the eastern mountains that Waterfront was stuck between was a large series of caves that went many miles deep. The valley itself was known as the Valley of the Giant, although many mountain ranges all over the world had valleys by that name.

While occupying the Kologk Valley of the Giant, Drow houses migrated to large islands off of Kologk's coast and other islands scattered around the world, many of which have been abandoned by the House Houses, but the Drow retain military forces on several of them, especially those that are tactically valuable.

The Drow only interacted with the Waterfront government, and contact with the other factions was minimal, although several minor jobs were taken by Drow mercenaries. The Drow did establish formal relations with the Transylvania and their Kologk puppet faction.

Cashiek

The Drow currently hold several colonies in the islands outside of Cashiek after the Colonization began. The Monarchy, not wanting to be restricted to Kologk, has its eyes on Cashiek as simply land and slaves to conquer, and military action is planned. Ironically, Cashiek also has a valley called the Valley of the Giant. This valley also has large caverns that has been established as the nation's capital.

Shortly before the colonization of Cashiek, the Drow Imperium joined the

The Silence and the War

Five years before the Cashiek colonization, the Drow of Sch'Naggio noticed that their trade and commerce to and from the city had dramatically decreased. Soon after that, summons of Yolchlols, the handmaidens of their Goddess, Lloth the Spider Queen, failed outright. Sch'naggio believed itself abandoned by its Goddesses. House Melith, the largest of the three Houses of Sch'Naggio, began to manipulate the other Houses to do their bidding, which was what help the city together. To reassure their faith in their deities, they went on a raid with twenty warriors and priestesses. They soon realized, however, that the humans had advanced very quickly-Or that these weren't normal humans, as seventeen of them were slaughtered when they attacked a bar with heavily-armed patrons. They had stumbled upon Murph's bar, and the three survivors-Each of them Drow mercenaries fighting on behalf of the Priestesses in the city-bought a shotgun from Murph, paying with a large gem.

The mercenaries returned, introducing firearms to the Drow. House Melith sent warriors to a local arms dealer to purchase more, and House Melith armed itself, raiding House Arkenep and House Orlytyl and blocking the main road into the other two parts of the city. Vasryn Melith, the Matron Mother, established herself as Queen, which was seen as blasphemy by the other Houses except Orlytyl and Arkenep, which were now in her control. A short war ensued, and several back-deals were made to secure the loyalty of the city to the Monarchy, and a new system was established.
