Vorsoth

Little is known of the Vorsoth. They are the blood enemies of GCON (besides the United Nations) about one century ago they sent GCON back in technology by about 400 years. During this time much had collapsed of old and knowledge was lost. However thanks to a rescue attempt of the Itsokasi Super Dreadnaught that contained all previous knowledge of GCON it was recovered. The Vorsoth thought that GCON was all but vanquished and looked towards their allies the Granations. The Granations were stretched over much space and had numerous colonies defended by their mighty warriors so they managed to hold for a long time. However while they held their own in ground combat the Vorsoth's great technology overcame its space forces and eventually they succumbed. Shortly after the recovery of the Itsokasi a Granation vessel came to Terra suprised to find GCON in such a terrible state. Where they needed aid none such was found for the Vorsoth already wiped out the GCON colonies and either destroyed or disabled its ships such in the case of the Itsokasi. It seemed the last colony of the Granations was quickly losing its fight and it would not be long before the Vorsoth reached Granatia Prime their home planet. While they had the data from the Itsokasi it wasn't a snap of the fingers to get their factories and facilities up to pace. However Emperor Tyrantis III saw that the Ravager Class heavy cruiser was in their ability to produce. It was the first space warship to ever carry FTL technology and while it couldn't be massed produced in the antiquated facilities of GCON with a regional effort they managed to produce 20 such vessels in a three weeks time. They launched at once for Granatia Prime to honor their alligience and get some revenge. With the old barely FTL engines it took a month to arrive at Granatia Prime. Only seconds before arriving they were dropped out of warp by some sort of gravity well. It was a Vorsoth ambush. Their vessels were cloaked and only by stern leadership on Emperor Tyrantis III's part and Pyrus's Lotus they were able to escape with only two ships lost. Resuming course they arrived in orbit of Granatia Prime where what they saw shocked and put fear into them. The atmosphere was burning literaly, it seemed that some Vorsoth weapon caused the very atmosphere to ignite into a giant wave of death. Only a few ships were able to escape before this happened. The Granation refugees were taken back to Terra and given land to live on. Time passed and no word of Vorsoth came, and GCON prospered and regained its technology. The Itsokasi was repaired and rearmed, the Zeus II station was under construction, and the cloak of the Vorsoth's was discovered to be seen through by old sonar. Then all of a sudden a Vorsoth carrier appeared just outside of Terra. The battle was quick and easy and a encrypted message was detected coming out of the Vorsoth ship in its last dying moment. After a week it was deciphered while most of it still is a mystery due to the complicated language of the Vorsoth is a code in itself. However it was headed for Dantari V and that is where the GCON are planning a counter offensive to destroy those who would not strike a wounded animal....
