The WPS-1A is a satellite-based weapons platform that has been constucted by the Asgarnian Space Agency (ASA). It is part of the classification WPS-XA, and there is one other exactly like it. They are in permanent orbit, and is powered by a Nuclear Pulse Propulsion system, keeping it in perfect geosynchronous orbit with the earth.

Armament

Each satellite is armed with a battery of 35 10-foot Tungsten/Steel/Beryllium/Carbon-Carbon rods that are propelled from the battery by a large CO2 tank. The rods hit the target at around 25x the speed of sound (19,025 M.P.H.). When all 35 have been fired, a space crew makes a flight to the satellite and retrieves it. They then proceed to rearm it.

Use in Battle

The WPS-1A has not been used in any conflict.
