Wedrom

The Queendom of Wedrom was formed when King Karl I along with the tribes from the North (now a part of Lower Wedrom) destroyed the tribes from the south led by Prince Abelthed. The battle of Drosdon field (the battle which decided as to who won)took three days to complete and resulted in the death of 100,000 soldiers, King Karl I won by using the inverse V tactic a move that is studied by defence and military institutions world wide. 650 years ago, King John II a brutal and oppressive King ruled the country for 25 years bringing hardship and despair for his people amongst his notorieties is that he killed two of his wives and the children borne from them, and sent his first wife and their two daughters into exile. He was also responsible for the Hobart massacre which saw every inhabitant of the town and surrounding area of Hobart killed because the king had heard that some citizens were considering overthrowing the throne. When King John II died and his nephew who he had proclaimed heir became King he invited John II first wife and his two daughters back to the country and allowed the eldest one to take her rightful place on the throne as Queen Natasha I (The two later married and later historians have uncovered evidence to say that she had started an affair with him on the basis that if he gave her the throne she would marry him and allow him to become Prince Consort along with many other rewards, this is in dispute and others claim that while the two had met and started a relationship while she was in exile, they did not marry or become public for fear of being killed by John II), When Natasha became Queen she instituted a law by proclaiming that there should never be a King of Wedrom again thus Wedrom became know as the Queendom of Wedrom thus establishing a matrilineal primogeniture, she also proclaimed that no ruler of Wedrom be allowed to call any of their offspring John a rule that stands to this day. 580 years ago Queen Alexdrania gave birth to twins a boy and a girl, due to an ancient law stating that if more than one child is born from the same pregnancy then both must rule equally (this rule was formed when King Karl IV had twins and proclaimed that the princes Karl and Christopher will both be King at his death), due to on of her children being a male and forbidden to rule Queen Alexandria stated that when he reaches an age of 30 the area known as Lower Wedrom will become a separate country and that her son shall be appointed King of Lower Wedrom. 500 years ago Wedrom became a part of the Blouman empire (see Bloumany) and during this 500 years only one ruler has became leader of the Empire Quuen Natasha III who is one of the most notable leaders of the empire. The Current Queen is Queen Natasha V she is also the sister of the current emperor, Emperor Henry IV and daughter of Emperor Otto III. Wedrom's national animal is the Wedrom bear and its currency is the pound
