Wellington Watsons

On January the 29th, 1803, after 40 years of no formal tutition for Children in Eagmont, Previous President Sir George Watsons, felt it was time for a formal college to be setup to teach the rich and aristocratic society. His brother, Wellington Watsons, was quite a literat, and when Watsons went to his brother Wellington to ask about the setup of a College in his Name, Wellington detested the idea. He said the name Wellington should never be used in an educational institution of the sought. However, as time went on, and the need was greater for this institution, Wellington decided he would allow it to go ahead.

So, on March the 3rd, the Buildings were contracted to be built, and enrolments were starting to open for the start of the 1804 school year (beginning on 1st March).

The Buildings, costing 15,000,000 Eagmont Dollars, were built to last for "over 400 years", said the Contractor of the time.

On March 1st, 1804, the school was opened for the first time. There were 23 students, plus 4 teachers there for the students to be taught by.
