The Republic of Al Iraqiya is a small, pleasant nation, notable for its complete absence of social welfare. Its hard-nosed, hard-working population of 7 million have some civil rights, but not too many, enjoy the freedom to spend their money however they like, to a point, and take part in free and open elections, although not too often. The tiny government devotes most of its attentions to Law & Order, with areas such as Social Welfare and Religion & Spirituality receiving almost no funds by comparison. Citizens pay a flat income tax of 5%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Basket Weaving, Furniture Restoration, and Pizza Delivery industries. Voting is voluntary. Crime is a serious problem. Al Iraqiya's national animal is the eagle and its currency is the Arab Dinar
