The Mikitivity Olympic Confederation Committee sent a delegation of ? athletes to the Second Winter Olympics to compete in ? different events to represent Mikitivity. The Olympic Confederation Committee set a goal of surpassing the nation's previous total of two medals from the First Winter Olympics. Mikitivity's first gold medalist, Evelyn Meier, served as flag bearer at the Opening Ceremonies. Mikitivity Bahn and Eule Fluglinien announced that they would provide free passage to and from the games for any athletes from the International Democratic Union on the airline's Olympic Carrier airship.
