Isla de Muerte is both a geographical region and province of Costa Bravo, meaning island of death in Spanish. Despite the name, Isla de Muerte is not an island at all, just a prorupted region of Costa Bravo. The Erne Casserne, a large lake fed by the Casselbert River from the Mediterranean Sea, separates the mainland Costa Bravo from Isla de Muerte.

Cities

Bordering the Erne Casserne, Isla de Muerte houses a handful of coastal port-cities, providing the province's primary source of revenue. A significant amount of tanker traffic travels down the Casselbert into the Erne Casserne, in order to interact with northerly African nations such as Libya. Major port cities include Halt and Port Bale, and to a lesser extent Durban.

Mountainous, rocky terrain covers the majority of Isla de Muerte, which yields to jungle in the southernmost portion of the province. Due to the mountainous landscape, Durban and Beaumont are among the hosts of Costa Bravo's famous Street Luge annual races and championships. Chafon and Talliers are popular hiking destinations, for their small size and altitude. Barçe is located at the peak of Mount Barçola, and is one of the nation's most famous ski resorts.

The innovative city-prison of Rura Penthe is located in southern Isla de Muerte.
