History
Utaia was discovered by an english explorer named Cornelius Maer on May 5th, 1726. He claimed the nation as "Utaia". After a few years of exploring more and more settlers came to this unknown land, intending to make a living by planting crops and harvesting the many trees in the nation. The more settlers came, the more they needed a leader to keep things in order. On November 2nd, 1802, they held a small meeting consisting of the most eligible people of becoming leader of the lands. It was the first "election" to be held in utaian history. The ballet was made of 6 names, one of which would become the leader. After a day of discussing the winner was announced, Theodore Lincoln was now the leader of Utaia. It was stressing to run a nation with only one man, so Theodore wanted some kind of parliament or government to assist him. So on July 12th, 1821 they wrote a document stating how Utaia's government would operate. The nation was growing more and more, as well as the technology and the government.

Economy
Utaias economy is reasonable, but with the high tax rate it makes a good amount of money. Most government funds are spent on Law and Order (21%) and Education (16%). Defense also plays a pretty big role, with the government spending 16% of funds on it, it makes a hardy barricade to get through.
Military
Utaias military consists of five branches "Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, and the Coast Guard". All of these branches are powerful, but the most deadliest branch of them all is the air force. The well trained pilots and well armed aircrafts make a deadly force to reckon with. The navy is relatively smaller than the others but can still dominate enemies swiftly. Utaia requires 1% of all citizens to join the military, but with the population on the rise, the percentage of citizens required to be in the military will drop.Right now, there are 6,000,000 on active duty and 4,360,000 in the reserve. And with all the influential advertising for the military, more and more people want to join the service. To join the military, you must be 18 years or older, but when the army desperately needs recruits, the age limit is 13 years and older.
