Present Information
Paradoxia is, by and large, a peaceful region full of nations who generally do not bother each other, let alone interact with other regions. All role-playing occurs on the regional forum, which is followed with a passion by several members of the region. Paradoxia has no specific ideological stance, welcoming all forms of government, all the way from pyschotic dictatorships to New York Times democracies. There are nations of vast military might (with four declared nuclear powers), and also nations of a pacifist nature; nations who value money above all, and nations who devote themselves to socialist ideals.
The major alliance within the region is the Paradoxian Treaty Organisation (PTO), which is the original alliance in the region. It had to contend with the now-defunct Paradoxian League of Free Nations, a treaty organisation formed by countries disillusioned with the 'corruption' of the PTO. It however, collapsed after the recent Paradoxian War, which involved seven nations directly, and many others indirectly. Active life in Paradoxia ebbs and flows, and that is pretty much how it goes.
World Interaction
Pretty much non-existent. Paradoxia is a self-contained, RPG region, with few UN members. Members appear to be content with the system as it works.
