After several delays and setbacks to international football, the Nedalia U21 Lions started to fade from the limelight, with mediocre players coming through the system, while the main Lions squad would swoop up all the talented youngsters. This was clearly highlighted as the AO football bodies attempted to revitilize the U21 scene with an U21 tournament, in which Nedalia crashed out during the Group Stages. The rebirth of interest in U21 football, however, was not gone unnoticed by the NFA, who began pouring money into the system again in hopes of bringing the talent of squad back to what it was.

Overview

The Nedalia Lions U21 squad was the very first team established by the Nedalia Football Association, participating in Nedalia's first international event during the U21 World Cup 14 in Total n Utter Insanity. It was also a highly successful debut, with the U21 Lions going all the way to Finals before being defeated by Starblaydia. It took them only 2 more tries to finally become crowned champions of U21 football, taking the title at U21 World Cup 16.
