Saint Michele was once known as Sicinium when it was the capital of the local Akaeian province, but switched hands after the conquest of the region by the Sicinii under Sangfeld. After the reign of its priest-king Michael during the 13th Century it was renamed Saint Michele.
The third largest city in Sicinia (after Martinique and Chanaud) Saint Michele is on of the most important trade hubs on the Gulf of Semantaria.
