The Mispelled Nashun of The Iroqouis is a massive, socially progressive nation, renowned for its compulsory military service. Its hard-nosed, hard-working population of 3.006 billion enjoy some of the most opulent lifestyles in the region, unless they are unemployed or working-class, in which case they are variously starving to death or crippled by easily preventable diseases.
There is no government in the normal sense of the word; however, a small group of community-minded, pro-business individuals devotes most of its attentions to Defence, with areas such as Social Equality and the Environment receiving almost no funds by comparison. Income tax is unheard of. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Arms Manufacturing industry, followed by Automobile Manufacturing and Information Technology.
Military spending is on the increase, all streets are privately owned toll roads, citizens are regularly found digging for treasure in their gardens, and citizens drive tank-like vehicles with mounted machine guns. Crime -- especially youth-related -- is crippling, probably because of the country's utter lack of prisons. The Iroqouis's national animal is the Model-T, which teeters on the brink of extinction due to widespread deforestation, and its currency is the Fordian Dollar.
