** Thank you, wow that was fast! I am using classical (Attic) Greek, since I understand that most Byzantine writing was conducting according to Attic Greek (although it was spoken with modern Greek pronounciation). That could be a flawed understanding mind you but still. --[[User:Pantocratoria|Pantocratoria]] 02:28, 5 Jun 2005 (GMT) | ** Thank you, wow that was fast! Hehe, I see you borrowed my template for political parties and election results. You're welcome. :) -- Constantinopolis 00:59, 19 May 2005 (GMT)
Actually I borrowed the one from Knootoss... maybe he borrowed it from you first? :) --Pantocratoria 06:01, 19 May 2005 (GMT)
Yah. Although I think I got it from Political Parties of Hell Bovines article. -- |Knoot|KNOOtalk 07:51, 19 May 2005 (GMT)
Well, I was the one who first created that template, but I'm glad to see I've started somewhat of a trend. ;) -- Constantinopolis 19:03, 21 May 2005 (GMT)
- abuses Pantocratoria talk* Hey, Constantinopolis if you are reading this I was wondering how you know which code corresponds with which colour? Right now I've leeched that as well, you see. Is there a table or something availiable somewhere for n00bs like me? -- |Knoot|KNOOtalk 20:55, 21 May 2005 (GMT)
I just use trial and error: I try different hex codes and hit the "preview" button to see what colours they generate. When I find the colour I'm looking for, I use that. :) I suppose there must be a table of all hex codes and their corresponding colours somewhere, but I don't know of any such table. -- Constantinopolis 09:38, 22 May 2005 (GMT)
I found that, as an alternative to codes, using basic colours like 'green' also works. The problem is that these colours have a tendency to be very ugly. *grin*. Anyway, trial and error it is then. I am going to have to shift things up and down anyway with the new elections and all. -- |Knoot|KNOOtalk 11:07, 22 May 2005 (GMT)
Or you could visit this page: [1] and find out the actual colour codes. Just saying. --Pantocratoria 15:39, 22 May 2005 (GMT)
"Is it Σεβαστοσ or Σεβαστος? I think the latter, since sigma comes at the end of the word..." (Pantocratoria in edit summary)
- Yeah, Σεβαστος should be correct, at least based on what Greek I know (which is admittedly of the classical variety rather than modern; I'm not certain which type you're using here). --Bedistan 02:12, 5 Jun 2005 (GMT)
