The Imperial Realm
The Imperial Kingdom of Great Britannya is a huge, devout nation, notable for its complete absence of social welfare. Its hard-nosed, hard-working population of 592 million are highly moralistic and fiercely conservative, in the sense that they tend to believe most things should be outlawed. People who have good jobs and work quietly at them are lauded; others are viewed with suspicion.
It is difficult to tell where the omnipresent government stops and the rest of society begins, but it devotes most of its attentions to Law & Order, with areas such as Social Welfare and Social Equality receiving almost no funds by comparison. The average income tax rate is 47%. A powerhouse of a private sector is led by the Pizza Delivery, Beef-Based Agriculture, and Furniture Restoration industries.

Great Britannya is governed by Her Britannic Majesty, Elizabeth the Second, by the Grace of God, Queen of the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and of Her other Realms and Territories, Head of the Commonwealth and Defender of the Faith.
Current Role
Great Britannya currently serves as Prime Minister of Assen, officially Imperial Assen, but will soon be replaced by Emperor Gowen I on 18 July 2006. He is expected to take up the role of Deputy Prime Minister following elections.
